no it just shows you that Monroe and his agent doing their due diligence, nothing more.

My guess is there is nothing in their pitch about taking less for the sake of team building. Just a guess though.

He will sign with Portland. Beautiful city. Great fans and far less taxes. I really hope the Knicks have him the option to take the max. I really do not want Harris. Although we will lose him too. The only big I would sign is David West for a max short term contract. Then sign Affalo. Otherwise I want to stockpile picks

Think about this for one second--Paul Allen got off his arse to fly to Washington DC all the way from Portland--

My logical/analytic side screams "NO"!!! but my emotional side is intrigued by a Tobias Harris signing. I think he has the potential to be a very very good F. I think he and Melo switching between F spots in a small ball lineup may be interesting.

Harris made a huge jump in shooting ability last season WITH an increase in volume. I think he could blow up. He has the tools...

Ok, now what? Nalod been trying to tell people owners make the big decisions cuz they own the darn thing.
Dolan pays Phil so he don't have to go himself and mess it up.

Perla went to Barcelona to sign Gasol.

Does Portland wait for LMA to sign elsewhere or do they renounce him?

Good point on Winslow but I assume he will back up Deng. They still have the Bosh question mark. Did Wade officially re-sign? Solid team, even though I think Dragic is overrated.

Forgot about Deng. Maybe Wade goes and they put Winslow at SG. That gives them 3 guys who can guard Lebron. Deng, Winslow & Bosh

the knicks supposedly wanted him to take less. who knows, maybe none of the teams are offering him his max possible deal.

They need to offer it with whatever length he wants. Hopefully Phil is talking to David Falk. Monroe and Afflalo sound really good right now.

This is what I was worried about. Sigh. That's a great organization. They maxed out their run with LMA and Wes and are instantly reloading.

Reloading? Seems to me like desperation
