The Celtics deal would of been hard for me to turn down.

In due time, we’ll see if these were the right decisions to make.

That's exactly the wrong approach

Im thrilled with this draft. Really am. Never felt better in fact. I believe we will get both long term and immediate satisfaction from the 2015 draft. End of story

Compared to what our GMs have done in the past.....Phil did a great job with the cards he was dealt. We have to remember phil and fisher are rookies. You dont punish them for their mistakes.....you reward them for getting back up fighting. Zinger is a legit scorer with longterm potential as a 2 way center. Grant is a big guard who can defend any guard in this draft... and he can score. A legit 2 way guard with potential and the nba pedigree to get better. He might turn out to be better tjan his brother and dad. Zinger may be a euro guy.....but hes a gym rat with a chip on his shoulders. Free agency is where the shortterm building begins. The draft is for longterm. But phil was able to get short term and long term help through the draft. Thats a win...win. He also didnt fold to the first trade opportunity like he did when he first came on board.

Undoubtedly the most interesting trio of picks I can remember.

Said enough about the Latvian, already- think they should give him more, rather than less, time, and let him grow.

Grant gives Jackson his big combo guard and a good leader, who won't need as much time to develop.

Hernangomez is the wildcard for me. Needs to get a little stronger, but from the few vids I've seen, he's pretty active and shows some instincts, especially on offense. Wish he could block some shots, but if he just plays good positional D in the post, I'll be happy.

Don't know if Willie will be here this year, but if he isn't and plans on being here next year, in my perception he'll be our "2016 #1" pick, just like I consider Galloway to be a late #1 from last year's draft.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Yeah i'm with you. I was good with the Porzingis pick but when we made the trade for Grant that put me over the top and i really think Hernangomez could turn into a really good player for us in a few years. I know a lot of you think that pick was made to help Porzingis along but i think this kid has some really good skills and could turn into something good.

I really like the Hernangomez pick after researching him a bit. I wanted Christmas but Willie maybe the better pick.

I'm absolutely not comparing the two but he reminds me of a young M.Gasol. Could he be the next great spaniard center??

want to see KP play a game before making a call on his skills, attitude, etc.
Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree
