What can we do to improve?
I am not sure if these David West rumors are true but I value his leadership/experience but not at a high salary, especially if we do sign Monroe

OK4 *if he is unhappy there, it will show and could regain much weight as a result of depression*
Embid

Noel for a ROOKIE coming back from surgery, he was off to a slow START but halfway in to it and his skills started to show he will eventually be an ALL STAR and DEFENSIVE FORCE, with more DEF potential than Ibaka
However, unless OK4 gets more mobile, adds quickness, and works hard in his workouts, especially with a mid range game and FT's, it will be hard to develop all 3 talents together and keep them if they reach anything close to their ceilings, with Noel looking like he will and Embid not sounding too good right now...

IMO, of the 3, Noel should be built around his abilities/strengths/weakness's with the way he played as a GREAT PICK MOVING FORWARD after recovering from his surgery
Unless both OK4 and Noel both add a mid range game and Embid needs to have surgery again or turns in to a complete bust
1 of these 3 will likely have to be moved sooner or later

Despite having 55 picks in the next 7years, currently NO PLAYER whether a veteran, FA, or player entering the draft would want to go to the Sixers
No one wants to go to a situation where they will likely be traded sooner or later
Despite owning all of those 2nd rounders, I HOPE EVERY FUTURE 2nd rounder only signs a 1 year offer then leaves, making majority of their 2nd rounders useless if they are unable to trade them for a 1st rounder

Until Philly is ready and capable of signing multiple talents, maybe 3 MAX players and more, to go with their vet min roster/rookie scaled young talents, NO FA will want to go there unless they are getting overpayed significantly

Is it worth it and would Philly consider taking Calderon and 2 future 1st rounders for OK4 *which would compliment KP, especially if they are developed together while building chemistry*
I think Calderon had a bad year last season but depending on our we utilize the rest of our cap space and who we can attain, things could be much different this season

As Calderon FA approaches his final year, he would get cheaper to unload, and I do not want to stretch him to affect our salary for more years at a lower price
Maybe someone here can come up with something that makes more sense....

I do think OK4 would work much harder if he was with us than Philly, where he has to worry about being traded every day, rent or buy property? If we do acquire him, bring Bynum to help develop him as a development coach

And in NY he knows what changing the city would mean and the OFFENSE will be focused on him as the #1 option, along with many endorsements if he can restore a Championship or/and perform greatly

If not, another LONG TERM PROSPECT that will need 3more years would be, Chrisitan Wood
Since we need a couple of years to LEARN, DEVELOP and EXECUTE the system, we are best to acquire players that will be part of our franchise moving forward as early as possible, while developing a style of play and roles for each position

1- Christian Wood PF/C
who was projected to be a lottery pick and is undrafted FA now

2- Cliff Alexander PF

3- Robert Upshaw Center

4- Aaron Harrison who was the better scorer but his brother was projected to be a better PG, though Aaron hit many clutch shots and finished more games/played more minutes SG, PG/SG, G/F

5- Sam Thompson *Ariza type player but smaller so SG, G/F*

6- Michael Qualls *tore ACL but really like his game* G/F*

7- Quin Cook *DUKE guard that is similar, comparable to Norris Cole

It is going to take 3years to rebuild this roster, develop our young talent, especially fully understand and execute the Triangle AFTER we acquire the talents needed
Phil Jackson is rebuilding this roster and MANAGEMENT from the bottom up, along with repairing relationships that the league HATES the Knicks along

CA could demand a trade, especially if we use our roster to absorb bad contracts for expirings for ASSETS
Houston would make the most sense and have the ability to do so IF Houston is unable to land a SUPERSTAR that they seek, with the assets in YOUNG TALENT, future draft picks, and able to match salaries with 150% rule, with us taking less salary and having EVEN MORE cap space this summer....

On top of getting rid of Calderon, I would also need to acquire a bunch of mini assets back,
Whether future 2nd rounders, draft rights to players, or/and some rookie/scaled/cheap players on their roster like Robert Covington, Grant's brother?, Wroten?

With that maybe reunite Grant and some lower level cost efficient contracts in our roster like Wroten/Covington, with some future 2nd rounders back?

Anyway, the Triangle will take a couple years to develop, before MAJORITY of the players will understand how to fully utilize the OFFENSE BUT WE ALSO NEED TO OUR TOP OPTIONS TO UNDERSTAND AND EXECUTE IT
Probably 3years, while last season doesn't count, Galloway played the most out of it that we will bring back...
On top of learning to execute it, they have to develop chemistry with each other, a reason I would like to sign a few D LEAGUE talents that could shoot that I have been listing
It takes time to fully learn this system as it is a bit different than the traditional PnR offense

1- Jerrelle Benimon SF, SF/PF, strech 4, maybe a Lamor Odom type player as a triple double threat
2- Jarell Eddie, G/F, a Danny Green type talent on shooting SG, Danny Green like ability
3- Scotty Hopson, G/F, another G/F that can shoot and score/penetrate/facilitate, decent versatile game as well and good athleticism, PG/SG/SF

We need to spend our money on DEVELOPMENT COACHES and TRAINERS as it looks like we will be going through a FULL REBUILDING PHASE that will take a 3 seasons or so, at minimum...
We should acquire Anthony Davis's trainer for KP along with Rasheed Wallace

Horace Grant/Horry/Ron Harper/Pippen/Kukoc/Cartright/ Walt Clyde Frazier

Billups/Rasheed Wallace/Ben Wallace/Battier/AK47

With some others depending on how we fill the roster like THabeet
Maybe Birch, Willie Reed

FA's

Shot blockers
==================

IF WE WERE REALLY CONSIDERING WCS, then maybe DeANdre Jordan

vet min

Larry Sanders *unguaranteed deal*
Thabeet

McGee short term shot blocker
Aron Baynes

OTHER FA's that we will not have to break the bank for

Koufus

Brandon Wright/Lavoy Allen/Serephin

Aminu/Jae Crowder
Wesley Johnson

Omri Casspip who had a very good year last season
Derrick Williams

RFA's
==========

Ray Mcallaum
Mike Muscula *Muscula was picked 44, I think he is suppose to be a RFA*
Any other 2year players with just 2years experience that were drafted in the middle/late 2nd rounders?

I believe late 2nd round picks are suppose to be RFA's after year 2, though I am not 100% sure of these players are RFA's or not?

I do not mind trading Shved and Early if they both can net us back draft picks or assets to contenders, though they both have some experience with the Triangle
Though I think Early is expendable and prefer the upside of Thanasis

No. Okafor might be great but those 2 first will hurt a lot more in the long run.
The algorithm gives and the algorithm takes away
