Im very fearful. Im starting to hope that Russell goes 2 and a team comes up and takes Hezonja 3 leaving us with Okafor at 4. Lets see the Knicks justify not taking Okafor.
OK4 will not reach the Knick's at 4, a team will pay for him, but with 300 picks already, Philly can add some more, along with many controlled contract with high ceilings already
NO OTHER TEAM can sign Durant, Lebron, and trade/sign for another 1-2 more TOP TEIR TALENTS, and still have more draft picks, rookie contracts with high ceilings
Those draft picks could also become the next Ibaka or even another HOF/ALL STAR TALENT as well
Lets face it, they are in a great position to becoming a future YOUNG REIGN OF CONTENDERS for many years if their owner is willing to do what OKC wasn't with Harden in building a DYNASTY
When the TV DEAL KICKS IN NEXT SUMMER, Hinkie will then be judged if he can lure talents or not
They can mold their team to be any way whether it could be a OKC, Cleveland/Miami, Spur's, Lakers, GS, frachise with GREAT DEPTH and play many different styles of basketball depending on who they can attract or if they can attract with so many draft picks and tanking so many years, at WORST they can be an Atlanta type of roster if no one wants to go there
If they convince 1 TOP TIER FA to go to Philly, they can trade/sign for 3 and more future HOF's and still have 222 picks to work with future picks/draft selections/stashes etc to continue to improve
They can afford to strike out and still be in the game in high ceiling talents, where as we can not with our limitted picks
