I think Mudiay is a great pick for Denver. I hope he can be what Tyreke Evans was supposed to be. Stein...eh...at least it's Sacramento that wasted a pick.

I don't like David West coming unless Calderon is going and even then I think it is a bad pairing if Monroe is also coming. I'd rather go with Tobias and move Melo to the 4.

The only way I like this is if West is Signed to a 4 yr $30m contract.

Winslow is dropping hes a 6-5 PF who doesnt shoot it that well. He could be good but I can see why he didnt get picked high.

yes. he could have taken winslow had he wanted the safe route, since winslow is a two-way player and melo needs defenders since he sucks on that end.

so drafting porzingis as an "eye-opening athlete" per phil jackson demonstrates that jackson is not interested in winning now with carmelo anthony-- an impossible goal apparently-- but rather trying to find players who fot into his philosophy vis a vis the triangle.

i see this pick as one step closer to ushering in the twilight of the melo era.

then again the knicks franchise is a lunatic asylum and guilty until proven innocent.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
