PJax says the Knicks have narrowed the list down to 3 players....If I had to guess, I would say the 3 are as follows:

1. Russell (Knicks hoping Philly passes on him)
2. Kristaps
3. Winslow

Mudiay would be a surprise pick to me. Wouldn't be upset by any means, but PJax indicated that we are set at lead guard (not sure why he has confidence in Jose and Gallo, but it was his words). Also, not hearing much about him being connected with the Knicks.....He just doesn't strike me as a PJax type player...

That's exactly why I think Phil takes him. Think he's playing mind games.

If cousins s moved Sac takes Russell or Mudiay. Although the deal has the lakers giving up Clarkson.

It's unbelievable how the league seems help restock the Lakers cupboard. SMH...And the Kings of all teams is going to help the Lake show? I hope this doesn't go down...With that said, I dont think Ok4 is a good fit for the Lakers with Randle coming back. I think they get in each others way....

Would the Lakers be willing to trade Randle to the Knicks? I know we don't have assets to make it happen, I am just saying

Randle, Clarkson and the 2nd pick would be moved to get DMC.

Why would they trade the second pick for a headcase like Cousin??

Maybe Calipari takes over for Fisher, too.

And Maybe we should take Kaminsky and Dekker... weren't they on that team that beat Lyles and Stein?

Because Cousins is really good. How do the Kings keep Karl? He tried to get Cousins teammates to go against them. In attempting to not look dysfunctional by firing a second coach in a short period of time they are going to trade their franchise player.

10:18pm: The Kings and Lakers have exchanged frameworks for potential deals for Cousins, and talks are expected to intensify on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports relays. The Kings have also started to engage with teams and explore possible trade scenarios beyond the Lakers, Wojnarowski’s sources have informed him. Sacramento is reportedly seeking the No. 2 overall pick, Randle, Jordan Clarkson, and other draft assets in return for Cousins, Wojnarowski adds. The Kings would also want to unload forward Carl Landry‘s contract in any deal, according to the Yahoo! scribe’s sources. Los Angeles is currently unwilling to part with Randle, and are reluctant to do so with Clarkson as well, according to Wojnarowski.

Isn't this just the Kings "you want him...you'll have to pay" initial offer. Kings are getting rid of a headache, unloading Landry, getting two good young players, and the #2, and perhaps the 27th, or a pick from next year.

This is why Phil is right about the FA before Draft issue. I assume that LA would look to sign someone like Love, but you would make this trade assuming you could get Love, without being positive...no?

LA gives up their PF and their best distributor and the #2 for a super talented player with some major baggage, and hope they can sign a defensively challenged Love to pair with Cousins.

This will be an interesting trade to monitor- have doubts about Cousins being worth it, unless Kobe makes him see the light.

That would be à terrible trade for LA

I think its Okafor, Russell, and one other player. They have to know who they will take at this point if both of those guys are gone. But they are still on the list in case one of them drops.

Porzingis
Lyles
Kaminsky

They know by now Russell is off the board, as is Okafor. They're worried about Stein's foot and Winslow's position and lack of defined game. They don't like Mudiay. They'll either take Porzingis at 4 or trade down for Lyles or Kaminsky.

Note: I hate this list of players and hate the direction Phil is going in this draft and think the Knicks will live to regret passing on Winslow, Mudiay, Stein and probably others.

I think it's Kat, Okafor, and Russell. :) Phil and company are going to have a meltdown if they're taken 1-2-3.
