About 35 minutes in they start talking Knicks, draft, Triangle, Fisher, free agency, etc. It's pretty good.

Herring and all the guys on the podcast make a strong case for Justice Winslow.

I like the points about Winslow, but if we take him it has to be after moving down a spot or two and getting other USEFUL assets (e.g., rotation vet and/or young talent with upside and/or additional picks). No way I use the #4 to pick Winslow. That would be NOT getting full value from the pick. If Jax did that, I'd pretty quickly turn against him based on his poor judgment.

I think we are going to get a lot of calls...even if some of the teams calling are just trying to fleece us for the the pick without giving us equal or better value back.

I want them coming to us- I don't want Phil to be calling folks asking about a trade.

About time that we do the trade abuse thing to the other team. I know Jackson would want a young veteran- I would also want any picks they have this year, and their unrestricted #1 next year.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

that's probably not gonna happen in my estimates... if a deal is going to be made it will be a 3 team deal.. i'm almost certain of it...

i just listened to this podcast. Chris Herring is another buddy of mine. He hates the knicks even though he covers them. As you can tell, hes not a fan of phil or melo or the knicks brain trust in general. i disagree with his take on winslow. i dont think any of the guys in that podcast knew much about the draft...they were just kinda echoing what each other was saying
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

He's very funny on Twitter, and his coverage of the Knicks has been enjoyable during a horrific year. he doesn't pretend to be a Knick fan, but he doesn't lay into the fans like Isola.

It's a learning curve for him- just before the draft lottery he said he couldn't understand knicks fans pessimistic attitude, and how they almost expect the worst. Then after we ended up with the 4th pick, he posted that he was starting to understand!

Looks like your setting your own parameters to judge when you don't know what deals are or not out there to move down.

Moving down has its risks vs getting the player you want.
We might think a player could have gone lower but if you can't get deal, then what?

Poor judgement? In a year, two years? If you "turn" then you root for the player to fail so you feel better being right?

Jeez, seems like watching a game is way too complicated now.

Its like buying a house, some are just out to get the best deal but some are willing to pay a premium to get exactly what they want! "price is on an issue in the absence of quality"!

Mocks have WCS lower than the 4th but if Phil takes him , we dont' know if orlando would have at the 5? or Sac at the 6?
If WCS is a bust, then im pissed.

Somtimes the deal is not who wants to go down, but WHO WANTS UP AND WILL THEY PAY????

Its your disgust, play it anyway you want!
