What do you think they would have averaged as freshman at the college level this year. Let's assume Mudiay went to SMU and Porzingis went to another major school (not kentucky or duke, knowing they would drive down his numbers.)

I'll say Mudiay would have averaged 15 points, 5 rebs, 5 asts

Porzingis 16 points, 7 rebs.

I haven't seen any type of discussion on this anywhere.

Any thoughts or predictions?

depends on the team... Porzingis would be a 20/10 player with no ifs ands or butts about it. He put up 11/5 + a block playing with men. In the NCAA? Pa-leeeze, the only thing that would limit his scoring would be the coach saying enough already.

As for Mudiay who knows with Larry Brown, but there arent alot of guards in the NCAA with his physical abilities, so I would expect his stats to be impressive as well

Agree with Fishmike about Porziginis. He is playing against much better competition in Europe right now. He can go inside and score from anywhere on the court. Not to mention that Porzingis would have better access to training facilities to work on his strength compared to the Euroleague.Porzingis aint no damn Euro project, the guy has NBA ready skills and body for it right now.

Mudiay would be putting up Delon Wright's numbers. 14.5/5/5
