Love it! Even if we're not too serious about drafting him, it just makes teams guess what our strategy is and makes it more difficult on everyone else to figure Phil out.

Curious to hear how this workout goes..

Just finished the video.

He is quicker than I would have expected.

Quick and effortless release, and they had him hitting some midrange Js, too.

No labored movement as they put him through the paces of a nice workout.

If LA was to take OK3, and Philly, Russell- Porzingis might very well be my pick at 4.

Porzingis has a more classic shot, but Russell gets his off between the seams of the defense, a lot like Curry.

Have not seen a Curry workout video, though.

Porzingis is a 5 and the most skilled 5 I have seen in years. I officially move him ahead of Kaminsky into my personal top pick for #4 over Okafor or Russell as well. Not many days you find a skilled athletic 7-1 C with a shooting touch like his --he looks noticeably bigger and he will continue to get bigger but how can the Knicks turn away the Combination assets of Porzingis as a 5? I love Kamnsky but the talent level here is off the charts. with the seize athletiscm package. Porzingis for #4.

He's grown on me a lot, nice personality, I like that his parents played bball. Nice fit next to Monroe as well

I love Kaminsky and would take him at 4. But how can anyone turn down an athletic 7-1 C who can shoot post and run? He could be David Robisnon with 20 more pounds. He could be the best player in the draft--possibly as good as Towns IF he puts the weight on which from these pictures look slike he can. How could we not draft him--he is NO stiff the team that gets him is getting an All star 5.

If we can get him at 4 and trade for Kaminsky...)

Just hope he is there. My vibe is no, but if he's not there, that means we are probably having a chance to take OK4

Well according to his scouting video he is quick latteraly, not as quick as Stein but impresively quick for his size. His fundametnals are poor though and he is a subpar rebounder. However it is nothing he can't improve on. He is only 19 right? I wouldn't mind too much if we draft this guy. My mind is still set on 1) Russell( if possible) then Stein.

Hes got high quality basketball pedigree--smething that I value highly. His family is all hoop. He can figure out the pass quickly--even on some video you can see he can be a willing passer--I mean hes 19. If he was playing at Uconn he would he be pick 2 NO doubt in my mind. Hes just bigger much less of that positional awkwardness and just using visualization--my god in 2-3 years he will be an unstoppable force from the 5. I hope that the Knicks can be flexible for the future and take the BPA for the franchise. This is a franchisee C the hardest bird to find. He looks much better than I thought--I was hoping he would win over a few teams but hes better than that. Its hard to get a true glimpse of just how long this man is he dunks with ease shoots with ease moves up and down the floor with ease--its a no brainer.

He needs to be repositioned to the 5--once hes in the post he will be a great rebounder--hes got great hands and length.

As he grows, the rebounding will get better. He's been more of a perimeter player over there. I thought there was some stats showing his rebounding was not as bad as it seemed, but yeah, it is something he would have to work on.

Not many bigs can move like him and have the kind of offensive potential game he has. He's up ten pounds to 230, now, and plans on getting to 250-260.

Nice video in the other thread. I'd have no issue with him at the #4 pick unless OK4 is still available. Right now, assuming it's Towns, OK4, Russell (my expectation) then I'd go Mudiay, Porzingis at #4. He looks legit.

Apparantly he killed it in the workout, which is great for us- either the76ers take him, which means we get Russell or OK4, or we get the chance to pick him

Yup...whether he is available or not at 4, this has really expanded the number of good players who will be available to us.

Porzingis is athletic enough to play the 4 spot as well as the 5 but will need that 20 pounds at least for the 5. This has been my guy from the beginning even went you didn't like him Briggs.
