![]() Video ten down illustrates why people have no clue about Kaminsky's high tier value.
We all remember Rondae Jefferson locking up Deangelo Russell. Well Frank the tank took Jefferson from the foule line using deft ballhandling skills (for a guy who is 7-1 now!) uses his spin moves and creates tremendous separation between him and maybe the number 1 perimeter defender in the draft.(video 10) http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2015/4/6/8348593/frank-kaminsky-nba-draft-status-wisconsin-basketball RIP Crushalot😞

I dont think people realize his whole array of skills--team changing type skills--playmaking elegant shooting form anywhere post footwork and moves and handles for such a big guy. I think he has them all plus what I like is he plays a thinking mans game. I am confidant he can guard whatever needs to be in the NBA --being 7-1 is natural deterrent and his mobility is going to just keep improving. RIP Crushalot😞

So if most PFs in the NBA are more athletic or stronger that makes Frank a finess player. Name some great ones... Robert Horry? I could see Frank in that kind of role. He's not going to push guys around in the post. He's not creating his own shot. He's not anchoring a defense, so he's a finess role player. He's a guy that looks great sandwiched between two high quality players. Simple fact is he is NOT an NBA athlete, and doesnt have the size or power like guys like Marc Gasol or Pekovick have. Frank is going to try to bridge the gap with BB IQ and fundamentals. How are those going to work in a 7 game playoff serious against any team with more athletic bigs? Frank and his fans may be in for a rude wake up. Nice player... role player. The #10-#15 range is probably just about right. There is a lot more Channing Frye in Frank than Dirk. Hes 3 inches taller than Frye a better ballhandler hes tough smart and plasy the whole court. People have it in their mind that he s a 3 point mobile 4. He can shoot it and he shouldve taken more than 2.6 per game but his bread and butter starts in the post to mid range. People dont realize but this kid has a huge confidence and is very tough. I also think he has a chip on his shoulder at this point- that quote of his where he said that he's 22 but being treated like he is 65 seems revealing to me. I look at the success he had in college, and the constant improvement he made in his game over the 4 years as significant, and he still looks like he can work on his body. Will he be able to do that Dirk fall-back shot he's working on in actual competition- can't be sure-I think so, BUT the guy already has a proven outside shot, an assortment of moves inside, an ability to dribble full court and finish successfully, an ability to pass the ball better than any big in the draft, and he is fundamentally sound as a rebounder and defender. He has to show me some ability to defend on the perimeter if he is guarding a stretch 4, but I am betting he's worked enough on his footwork to do that. If we get him in a trade down, I'd be happy, but I think he's worthy of consideration at 4. EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?
