Adrian Balboa has something to say about any Eastern Conference team trying to beat a LeBron-led team...

Might as well give up on trying to build a contender around Melo and instead focus our energy on a full rebuild. The reality is that no one is going to beat LeBron and the Lebronettes with him in his prime, so we might as well attempt to be first in line to pounce when he finally falls off. If Riley is willing to give up his 10th pick and a future pick swap for Melo, I'd do the deal. Whatever the deal though, we need a lottery pick and maximum cap space to help acquire as many picks (through contract dumps) as possible.

Impossible to beat that team with Irving and Love healthy with the better role players.

Not sure how Love fits in with the kind of game they are using to beat GS, but I have not watched the Cavs that much with Love playing.

I wouldn't concede anything to them. You just have to build your team right. Not focusing on the Cleveland Lebrons or anyone else. Just build the best and most balanced team you can. Make sure it's a team that can defend against anything. Size, Small Ball, Run N Gun, Half Court, whatever. I believe that's what Phil is going to try and do.

I expect the WArriors to use Lee and their scoring will dramatically rise. This was a match up problem GS brought on themselves by not utilizing Lee earlier. Just watch --JR Iman etc.. better start scoring--because that was it.

Wouldn't mind if Melo was traded, not so much the salary but the years on his deal. Has to be to a contender or Melo wont sign off. I like draft picks for Melo, but would also want some established talent who will be in the league for a while.

I don't expect Curry to have a bad start next game. He found his stroke and they found the weaknesses for the entire series. Also don't expect Della to have the same impact.

something tells me that since the next game is 2 days away... it's not enough recovery time physically for the cavs.... they are already short on bodies and they'll probably have another injury in the next game. could be shumpert could be della.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

They are a better team when lebron goes beast mode....if irving was playing. ....lebron wouldnt get as many shots.....and irving would shoot them out the game. Lebron wouldve fussed at love for his lack of toughnest. I called it but nobody believed me....lebron plays better with kyrie out. I called it after game 1.....with some co workers.....they thought i was crazy....now look.

Lebron is why we can't draft WCS at 4 & we can't trade down.

He is simply the best player in the league by a wide margin.

We need to find the best 2 way talent with the most upside at 4. If its Mudiay, then do it.

We need a player who can impose their will on the flow of the game.

Yes, yes and yes. You hit the nail on the head you want an impact player at 4 one that controls the game. I feel Mudiay gives that more than any player in the draft. Can Mudiay shoot right now he can maybe not to the degree you would want but no doubt he will improve on it. Does he make others better a big yes, does he and can he control the flow of the game yes, can he get to the basket at will yes. He is just a jump shot away from becoming a complete package.

A player that has the ability to drive to the basket strikes fear in opponents because it causes defensive systems to break down. That is what LeBron, Kobe, Wade, Harden and Westbrook these guys are terrors. That is my case for Mudiay.

ding...ding...ding

Their defense is key to their wins. Plus Lebron scoring 40. We have our 40 man. Do we have defense like them?

The Warriors are one of the most impressive teams I've ever seen and are still being outflanked by one man: LeBron. Try as we may, we'll never be as good as the Warriors are, even with Melo. So who are we kidding? We've already seen this script before with Jordan and the Bulls so why allow history to repeat itself? Success comes to those who plan for tomorrow, today. That is a mantra we need to embrace, so that we have a shot at actually building a title favorite as opposed to just some psuedo-contender (best case) or some middling team (probable).

I am down with the full rebuild, IF we can get fair value for Melo, we should maximize that value now. We won't be contending in the next five years, not with LBJ in Cleveland.

I don't buy it LBJ is a all time player, but he can be beaten and has been beaten. The Warriors are just playing stupid basketball and the Cavs are leaving everything they have on the floor. Warriors are playing as if they have done something, when in reality they have done nothing yet. Curry playing nonchalant, Della is out playing him out hustling him. Curry needs to come in and think I dropping 50 on him. Curry needs to stop playing like he is Joe cool and get nasty from the tip.

LBJ is the only one with finals experience and that is benefitting the Cavs. I don't see anything special about the Cavs but LeBron. Cavs are playing their ass off and if the Warriors don't get nasty and turn it up they can kiss the season good bye.
