does he have post game or hook shot? you want to take him over winslow and mudiay?

How is it you missed that? As for his release I think it's just fine. He should only be taking open jumpers anyway. He's not going to go from not shooting much at all to actually challenging defenders with his jumper. Don't forget also that he has a very quick 1st step and will probably use that to create space. He'll have to blow by some centers a few times in order to get respect for his quickness before he'll be able to get defenders to back off a bit on his face ups. |

He's got the physical talent to be a decent offensive player. I do prefer taking WCS over Winslow or Mudiay. I think his defense will completely transform the Knicks team D. IMO that's more important than anything else at this point. The Knicks had the 28th ranked defense. No amount of added scoring will fix that. |
