Out of all these guys he has the "most" star potential MUCH MORE so than any of Winslow Mudiay etc.. you j
uust need to look at his pure jumpshot his steady ballhandling skills and obvious athleticism. Hes higher than Mudiay. Hes the only guy I d really consider other than Kaminsky at 4. If some how we could get pick 9 for taking on Stephenson and got BOTH Hezonga/ Kaminsky then Fuzaro with a high 2 that would be a grande coup. Id wait 6 months and trade Melo for a diversity of assets out and leave Kaminsky at 4 and Hezonga at 2/3

ONLY way I take you at 4 is you KNOW how to shoot it great. If not nope.

I think Jordan is willing to swap the 9th pick for a later pick if a team takes on Lance. If Jordan is really looking to dump Lance a smart team would take Lance for a future 1st and multiple 2nd rd picks including this year and let the Hornets keep the 9th pick.

If we walked out with Hezonga and Kaminsky in rd 1 and Fuzaro rd 2 our long term arsenal for this franchise --next 12 years would be set in place. All3 could help the team right now. For anyone who thinks Mudiay 4 and not Hezonga--on what grounds? Hezonga is a pure baller who if at Duke would be in the running for pick #1. Its too far fetched to grab both but there is a slim possibility.

My personal feelings for pick #4 if top 3 stays in form

Mudiay 0/100 no chance to be picked at 4 by me.
WCS 0/100 No chance
Porzingis--5/100
Winslow 5/100
Kaminsky 45/100
Hezonga 35/100

everyone else zero. Hezonga is the only guy I could take over Kamnisky the other guys no chance.

How about Charlotte gets full lottery PROTECTED 2018 and their choice of Early Thansis or Hardaway and we take on Stephenson for picks 9 and 39. Then we just waive and stretch Stephenson.

He is only owed one year at 9 mil. Do they really need to give up much for another team to take a chance on him? I think he could be great in ny. If not just cut him. His deal wouldn't even have to be stretched. If they would take Jose for him I think the Knicks would do it.

I said, 'if they would'. If they are giving up picks to move him they might take Jose rather than move out picks. Are they trying to move him to have cap space like Houston with Lin last year? If so they don't take Jose. If it is just because he is a bad apple then I think Taking Jose and keeping their picks s something they might consider.

I like some of his numbers but I'm not convinced they translate. If he turned into Parsons that would be great but im not convinced he's as shifty.

Hes got a LOT of physical talent with a pure shot. But for me its an easy pick all day of Kamnisky. Just look at the output from the C PF position for GS

Kaminsky at 7-1 would provide ANY team with very nice in/out scoring an ABSOLUTE premium in the NBA right now. We have Carmelo to score form the wing. If we got Monroe and Kaminsky and good perimeter defenders we d be really good quick.

Euro guy will be serviceable at best. How many Euro guys really killed it in the NBA? I'm counting about 7 really good ones.

Drazen
Peja
Nowitzski
Gasol brothers
Ginobili
Marcilonus
Parker

The list is short with Euro players. I wouldn't touch Euro players high up in the draft.

Off the top of my head, I would add:

Kukok

Ilgauskus
Divac

Maybe 1-3 real game changers. Would you draft them high in the draft I would pass. To risky 10 and down.

You have a good point no doubt about it. Its risk reward. I would personally grab Kaminsky and try to get Fuzaro down low but no one can deny the talents that kid has.

Said this to Briggs before, in a less coarse way, but if he was a college player on a good program, half of you guys would be having wet dreams about him every night.

One of the best athletes in the draft. Can drive, shoot from the outside, knows how to pass, and he has good size for a shooting guard. AT 6'8" you figure he might be able to play at the 3 as he matures.

Its all about his attitude, from what I've read, and this mostly applies to his D, it would seem.

If he's doing team workouts, I don't understand why you would not bring him in for a look, but more importantly, a long talk about where his head is at and why he's gotten a reputation.

Seems to have one of the highest upsides in the draft- you just have to be sure about his heart and whether he understand what it takes to be great.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

While I like Kaminski I would still take Mudiay if Okafor or Towns are not off the board. The reason is I feel he has the ability to make others better. he has enough slashing game and his shot will improve with time. He reminds me of a more athletic Mark Jackson. Mark Jackson was not a great shooter but he was able to use his big frame vs small pgs. This team needs a play maker in a bad way a perimeter player that puts pressure on opposing teams.
