Possible stop-gap option if the Knicks don't get perimeter help via the draft. He has 6'4-6'5 size, is tough and has a mid-range game that would probably work in a triangle based system. He made vets minimum in Indiana and he may be available for $4m on a one-year deal with the opportunity to cash in when the cap expands next year. The Knicks can't go into the season with Hardaway as a starting 2-guard.
