He liked New York and New York liked him back. The night his name was chanted at The Gardem was a beautiful moment. Donnie Walsh was forced into a deal he didn't want to make by Dolan.

Mozgov is going to The Finals as the starting center.

Why? He looks good because he is playing with the current king of basketball.

He looks good because he can play. I understand that LeDouche is a great player but lets not diminish the skills of the players around him.

I miss Mosgov too. A conversation in my house with my wife and kids during the playoffs always goes likes this...."Dad, all these ex-Knick players in the playoffs. Why did the Knicks get rid of them again?" My answer...I don't know.

It is hard not to like this guy. He is just doing his thing quietly even though he is not a "star".

And this is unforgettable.

I think this belongs in this thread "How Golden Sate drafted their way to the championship" as an example of what not to do.

When you finally find a piece, keep it.

The thing I loved about Mozgov was Walsh plucked him out of the blue. Like a magician with fairy dust (of the Russian variety).

All these years of not rebuilding, and we're still rebuilding, but not.

How's that for a Koan Zen Master!

Funny thing is that I can't even look at them when I answer.

He's a solid role player. He was then and still is now. That being said, a lot of guys would fit nicely next to lebron. Jason Smith would probably look amazing there as well.

Tell them Lebron is the greatest player of this generation and confirmed by putting knick role players on his back an taking them to the playoffs. Make no mistake about Lebron and his effect to make those around him better. Its his nature.

Moz was a free agent find and cost us nothing. Gifts should never be regifted!
Im happy for Moz and Shump. I pray JR does not do something stupid. He just has to hit his shots in the big spotlight. Time to man up.

Mozgov was not a stiff when he played for us, and was not a stiff at Denver.

Its not like he sprouted up from nowhere because James pulled him aside, kissed his forehead and counseled him on how to be good.

He's on a larger stage because of Lebron so more have seen him play, and he has a certain defined role that he does well, but he has not changed his game that much, except that he comes in each day knowing that he will be starting. In fact, he has a pretty good short jumper that you don't see that often- I would say he could even do more on the court if he was allowed to do so.

Blatt supposedly knew of him overseas before he came to the Cavs, and I expect he had a role in getting him from Denver.

And yeah, I miss him, too. Great find by our overseas scouts- unfortunately, but not surprisingly, we never had a chance to see him grow in our uniform.

He's a nice role playing centre on a good contract. I was not and am not emotionally invested in him, so I don't really care. I do hate it when players I'm attached to are traded away, but he wasn't really one of them.

In MAAATHURRRR RASSSIAAA, 93 = 13 :)

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree
