As a backup PG.....would you bring back Lin?

Let melo continue to play the 3 and get a big body 4
Sign no-nonsense, Mr. consistent
Brandon Bass

Let bygones be bygones...
Sign Tyson Chandler to a much smaller Contract

Bring Luis Scola ... Nothing special, but super high BB IQ

Forget about LALA tasting like cheerios and bring KG

Gerald Green from PHX as starting SG or even as 6th man

Robin Lopez so that we finally have a legit center in god knows how many years

Tyler hansbrough, Nice pf who takes charges and nice mid range, for the Triangle

Louis williams (guy can score at will on any given night) Hands down better shooter than any not named melo on our roster

I think this is what they will do...
Does not mean this players will go to NY.
Especially Lin... he already deal with Melo once and does not looks like stupid dude to ignore his experience.
Other bunch are fine players but they will not define what Knicks team will be.

I'd love to have Lin back - think he would be fine running our system, but I do have a hard time seeing him coming back.

All of the guys mentioned are NOT MAX FREE AGENTS, and efficiently fill a need.

Yes Lou amundson plays with heart, but he doesnt stop ANYONE. Aldrich is decent, but isnt a starter
After melo and bargs, this team as currently constructed has NO DEFENSE, AND NO SCORING. No transition game

MARK MY WORDS: Monroe at the MAX is going to wear out his welcome very quickly in NY.

You must be Triple Threats long lost cousin. How old and slow do you want then team to be? Scola KG Tyson back in the fold--isnt this just putting a band aid with poor adhesion on a large wound? We tried that a few years ago.

My hope is that the Knicks become SIGNIFICANTLY younger with the hopes of finding guys they can actually keep together to form a bond cohesion chemistry you know the things that help teams win for years.


So lets get B and C rated veterans in favor of younger players to add to our "core" of Calderon Carmelo and Hardaway? By the way how much do you think its going top cost to bring these B-C free agents in--together youre talking all of our cash.
