He was a 19/9 player the year before and was hurt all this season. He put up good numbers on a per minute basis, but doesn't have a place in the GS rotation so minutes were limited. I will ask you this, what proof is there that he is on a "steep decline", and will not return to 75% of the offensive output he had before the injury? Just because a player gets injured, does not mean he is necessarily on a steep decline, unless you have another reason to believe that. Again, we are talking about one year here. He is 32 years old, i understand that might also factor into your belief of a steep decline, but i still don't think you are entirely accurate.
