Also no need to knock Mudiay. Mudiay at the Nike Hoops Summit which had players from Towns to OK4 to Russell to Winslow to Tyrus Jones etc etc... Mudiay was the best player on the court.

It's also possible that if the Rockets attempt to make a run at LaMarcus Aldridge, they'll move that 18th pick to help unload contracts that hey either don't want or need e.g. Kostas Papanikouloau (who I really like), Corey Brewer Pablo Prigioni and Joey Dorsey. That'd be a stretch though because the aforementioned players are all very capable and would interest most teams. It's a damn shame Milwaukee bought out Larry Sanders when they did because I would've taken his contract for their 17th pick and a future.

We need all the talent we can get, even if it is redundant. Besides, with his skillset and size, I can easily imagine him being a 2 guard as well. He reminds me a tad of Manu Ginobili of yore and I'd be intrigued to see how he'd fair off the bench in that same role.

I wonder what kind of problem an ambidextrous PG is going to cause on drives??? I mean, you can't really prepare too much for that, seems like he could keep defenders off balance. Really a huge advantage, a bit like an ambidextrous pitcher...

There's no way Brooklyn will sell their 1st rounder. They're completely capped out and have no other way to add talent to that roster. They might be the only team in the league with a worse future than us.

No doubt Brooklyn desperately needs an infusion of talent and youth but does the 29th pick in the draft really address those concerns effectively. I can't imagine that those late picks yield too many success stories and judging by King's track record, I doubt he'd buck that trend. Mason Plumlee seems like an NBA player but that's about his only find.

Do you think they'd include the pick if we took Karasev's deal off their hands in exchange for $3 million and Tim Hardaway Jr?
