Here's my kick

I love Jordan Mickey---I think he is a version of Serge Ibaka but he can also handle the ball some as well. Hes 6-8 240 but plays like a 6-11 guy

IF Christian Wood falls to rd 2 and we cant get Mickey that would be an excellent long term pull as well as looking hard at Rakeem Christmas

Those are the three guys Im looking at late rd 1--Mickey early round 2 Wood and Christmas.

Im not really interested in secondary guards that high now(top 45)--there will be so many good guards in the later 2nd round and into UDFA its a waste of time to name them but this might be a one time event that so many players who have NBA capabilities will be available from 45 down to perhaps 90.

Phil Jackson has to do work here--we should be having workouts daily for the next month--too many players to look at.

Sorry BRIGGS, none of these dude make sense for the Knicks at the moment. If we are not going to draft Russell or Towns, we NEED to trade the pick for a chance to draft Stein and a stud or Winslow and a stud
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Im not talking the top of the draft--Im talking acquiring a second asset to come back in late 1 early 2.

I would be happy to trade the 4th pick and Calderon to Charlotte for a proven player like Lance and their lottery pick and a second rounder. We can then select either Winslow or Kaminsky or the talented Euro player

Im not talking about anything in terms of trading or top tier picks here. Im talking about the secondary segment of later rd 1 early rd 2 picks and UDFA. I personally feel it has its own market and this year that market can be great.

I understand you clearly my man. I am just not willing to look past the first round for now. I want Russell, Stein, and Winslow in a Knicks uniform

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Just wondering the tools we have to make a deal. Money? Trade exemptions? We have cap space to absorb assets others want to shed?
I know its america and working hard and smart is the ideal. Not being sarcastic, was just wondering how we do that.

I gotcha--we have the assets imho to get into lat rd 1.

This guys going to be great---its funny how if a guy like this was hyped up as a top 6 pick wed have a lot of people saying yeah lets get Mickey!!! But he was not--but he is! and he came out and proved what he was in Chicago. Both Christmas and Mickey showed it.
