I hope so too. I can't believe people want to take Mudiay over Winslow. Winslow can do everything he can do at a higher level.

No he can't. Winslow can't pass like Mudiay. Winslow doesn't have PG skills Mudiay does and Mudiay can play SG too. He rebounds well also.

Yes he can. Mudiay is supposed to have better passing instincts because hello, HE IS A POINT GUARD. In addition, how can a player, who can't shoot, but possess the IQ of a PG play the shooting guard position? You don't see people calling John Wall or MCW a shooting guard do you?

Guessing Mudiay or Winslow, assuming we do not make trades

However what really hurts us is that The Lakers now will be our contenders and will likely get FA's over us, players will choose Lakers over NYK's, whether it is this season, next season, or the near future
That is where it really really hurt

I think LA is the best FA that is unlikely to even consider us without a top 2 pick
Greg Monroe could be our best option and I don't think we will be able to contend with CA's contract while we would have had a shot to lure TOP FA's with LA if we had a TOP 2 pick

Fisher played to win EVERY game while it was all meaningless games
Lakers tried to win EVERY game but they got luck on their side, in addition to Jordcan Clarkson and Jabari Brown's development
They could sign 2 FA's next summer, possibly even go for LA this summer and have the ability to add 2 more next season

My point is Lakers going up to 2 hurt is much more than us just falling down 2 spots

Folks just might want to wait until we have a few workouts for players before getting too crazy about who we will take.

Mudiay is a PG, Winslow a SG.

If we go with the triangle, Mudiay will benefit because the position does not necessitate taking too many 3 pt shots. He can drive, dish, and hit the midrange shot, and he has good size. If he shows these things in workouts, and an ability to defend, we will take him.'

Remember, too, Mudiay was listed ahead of Russell in that "leaked" "Knicks' insider" report of who we wanted.

Winslow is a good slasher and defender. I am not sure about his jumper under pressure or off the dribble, but I think he's a winner. Will be interesting to see how he does against NBA SGs, though, and what he.

Both are physically mature and should contribute sooner rather than later, but I think we would take Mudiay over Winslow at this point in time.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Also there were reports that Mudiay was being scouted by the Knicks in China.

let me guess you want mudiay rather then winslow. why? have you seen him play and do you generally believe the chinee league is a good frame of reference to judge talent?

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Let me guess you want Winslow because you watched a couple of tournament games where you also determined Okafor was a bum?
