I think he would. I don't know if he is in a situation where his family might want him to take time off but I think you are right that he is out of Chicago. I didn't realize that Bulls management had their trainer controlling players minutes.

That young big dude is an enticing player to want to coach. Although I think M Jackson could be a better coach, but we will see.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Tom is not married, no girlfriend, no kids, very private.
He grinds his players into pulp. Good coach, and he'll destroy the Unibrow.
In my opinion he is over rated. I like the intensity and think he is very talented focused man but as a head coach he destroys his team.
For all the money I have in contracts If I were Reinsdorf I would also have someone looking over his shoulder and make sure he can't hurt anyone more than he has.
He needs to step back, count his blessings and money and go on a long vacation on a romantic island with someone.

He must bring in an offensive ast or it would be a no go. Also, I am afraid Davis might lose all the weight he gained. lol.

Defensive assistant at best. Same problems as JVG offensively challenged. Guaranteed the opposing team will be in the game. That wears on the teams and eventually the team succumbs to the grind it out style of play. Works well in regular season but doesn't carry over to playoffs.

pelicans

smh at gay comments. lol. smh. dude is just insanely into his job. thats what makes him happy.

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Yeah, it seems to me he'd be better off as an assistant so there's someone on top of him reining in his worst impulses. Great defensive mind but he really grinds his players down.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

My brother said the same thing of Riley when he was the Knicks coach - they played at such a high level during the regular season, but they didn't have another level to step up to during the play offs.

I would trade Phil & Fisher for Thibs & Isiah in a second (well, maybe not really)

With Thibs, you would know right away if you had a good team or not - no question about effort with him.

Interesting comparison to Riley. I think that he wore out the Heat more. Listened to Gottlieb today and he was praising Phil Jackson for how he handled His team and Shaq specifically. He said Phil's training camps were an hour of meditation and an hour of practice. He said Shaq would play himself into shape during the regular season and play at a higher level in the playoffs.

Bulls are such a classless organization, the way they are and have been treating Thibs is a disgrace.

So here's what we should do. Phil brings Fisher into the front offices and makes him his GM and puts Mills in another department where he really belongs cause he's not a basketball guy as much as he's a business guy and then we hire Thibs as head coach. So Fisher can take over for Phil after working under him for 2/3 years and we don't have to worry about Isaiah taking over when Phil leaves.

The Magic could be a good fit. They have a good, young, core with lots of draft picks I believe. Its a given that Thibs will ride his players until the wheels come off, younger players would hold up better under the heavy minutes they would be playing.
