Just to kind of get a snippet of this player--not many samples--but you can kind of get the drift of why some people are very high on him. Pretty simple--hes a mobile 7 foot PF who has a nice jumpshot hes long athletic he can make plays all over the court. He can get to the rim with two dribbles from the 3 point lone hes natural shotblocker hes got great defensive potential---he just oozes with talent and there is no doubt in my mind he is a top 5 prospect long term in this draft. I hope he gets in on the 5-5s they will be having in Chicago because one players have to deal with a mobile 7 footer who can handle in fast pace--its a different world out there when you are 6-5 and your looking up 7 inches at your opponent.

i liked him at UNLV..hes obviously talented. but whenever i watched him, it felt like he was half asleep and coasting. i worry abuot his MOTOR
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I like what the guy said--hes better suited for the nBA. Its hard to knock anyone's motor when they are giving 3 blocks and 10 rebounds on a team where he wasnt even the best shot blocker. Wasnt Calipari knocking Karl Towns's motor? I think hes going to be a tough cover--dont like the talk about 3 pt shooting but its a skill you want your 4 man to have in this game. I would suggest the Knicks really take a hard look at this player a VERY hard look.

just because he was productive doesnt mean he cant hustle more. i feel like he had the talent to dominate games...like an all american...but just didnt bring it all the time. i saw smaller players (like poole on san diego state) out play him. with that says, he has great upside andi agree that his game is better suited for the NBA. im not sure hes a lottery pick but def a 1st rounder

Dwayne Poole? He barely even played against UNLV and he wasnt very good in the one game that was televised. You must mean someone else.

yeah dont quote me...i dont remember the kids name onsan diego state...was it shepard? anyways it was clearly a guy smaller than him. and i just remember him outplaying wood. it was just my impression - i was like is he awake? playing half speed? but yes he has a world of potential...maybe he was sick with the flu...who knows

Go down the entire list of players in this draft.

There are only 4 to5 what I would call mobile 4-5's who have 3 point ability and in who can also disrupt defensively . That is Porzingis Kaminsky(and he will be a question mark on the D in the NBA)Portis Turner and Wood. Porzingis and Kaminsky will be drafted to high. Wood is the only attainable mobile 4-5 who can shoot to three handle and block shots. In the NBA today you need 1 quality big who can move out and spread the floor--but also has the ability to play inside use handle pass and then be a disruptive player on D. Thats why I want one of those 14-16 picks. If I get Towns + Wood or Okafor and Towns--I feel we have hit a jackpot. I would easily give up 15mm in cap space to get that done.

He is raw Briggs, did you even watch the draftexpress weakness video that I linked for you?

There is a greater chance that a team eventually gives up on him if he is selected in 1st rounder, after the first 2 seasons, and then we picked up after, just like Whiteside was before going to the D League and Heat
With that said, that is why I am saying he isn't worth it for us to even consider him in the 1st round, and he isn't someone I would trade down for as the focal point
He seriously reminds me of Anthony Randolph, who we probably could sign with a 2-3year deal at a near vet min deal, who is still young and maturing now, though he isn't the same athlete he was prior to his surgery

Then there is a chance that he could be an absolute bust, given his youth, lack of skills/needs of development for his body and skills, NYK currently isnt the best place to develop young raw talent, as we lack the coaches to do so and lack a PF that could mentor him and that he can learn off of, in addition to the other factors of playing in NYK at his age with party life, critisism, and our currently losing mentality

I get that you have your opinoins, as we all do....
He isn't someone we can afford to gamble with given our lack of picks to begin with, but with a team like Philly then I can see it as they have the ability to strike out and have Noel to help mentor him and compete with him everyday at practice to motivate him and can help guide him to develop his body like he did
