The Jets took the best player available and what you like from Williams is that besides being really good he also seems to love to play(and if any of you played football you know what I mean) and has dominate type physical features. I think Williams slipped because he was injury prone-- hes got high upside--a few videos will tell you all you need to know about his upside but the NFL is 5 times more physical than college and if he was injury prone there--it may follow him. Also we have a full 3 line man in a 3-4 set. It just means we re going to have some depth and be able to keep guys fresh with rotation + there's a hedge against Wilkerson leaving next year. This is a veteran defense right now--I dont see trading Wilkerson as we sweep past rd 1.

We actually traded our 5 + 6 pick for WR's already(one Marshall the other harvin who is gonzo) but I like Dorial Beckham for pick #37 for pure talent and I think the bigger target really helps Geno. Then I think we go offensive line picks 70 +104 we could use a punter in the 7th round it went unnoticed but we were a poor punting team and that kid from Kansas the lefty he big physical and gets huge long punts off. Time to address the under rated position there.

Giants Oline is now 1 first rounders, 2 second rounders and a FA that was a premier signing. No excuses for that crew.. they need to perform. Eli had a career passing year and the Giants had no running game at all. I dont expect the defense to be dominating, but there are enough quality guys there (and we should add more) for Spags to put together a good group.

That being said tell me a better passing attack that Eli->Odell/Cruz/Randle/Donell. That should be a sick crew man

#2 weakness was the O-Line. Eli had a heck of a year under Ben Mcadoo when he wasn't getting his head knocked off. We are set at WR & RB. Donnell can be an above TE but he doesn't block well. I would not be surprised if the Giants take a TE in the early rounds.

#3 weakness was special teams. Zero production on offense and defense. How many Punts were returned for TD's on them last year? And worst field position in the league on offense. So look for improvement on special teams.

The secondary Should be a strength like it was suppose to be last year but Tbeywere depleted by injuries last year to Prince, Thurman & Cromartie. They are strong at safety & improved at LB. Healthy Beason is huge since he is the leader on defense especially now that Rolle is gone. Jaquan Williams should have a breakout year at LB.

Gonna be a battle for the division between the Giants, Cowboys and Eagles to a lesser extent.

Going to be a hell of a football season in NEw York. Really like what the Jets have done and I really don't see Geno getting the job. Fitz is not great but he can be adaquate as the Defense and special teams carry them. He will please Brandon Marshall, Decker & Kerley with some deep bombs. He is very similar to Testeverde and how Vinny who also had a rocket of an arm but struggled with consistency. Too much feast or famine but that changed when he came to New York under Parcells who holds his QB's accountable. Todd Bowles is a Parcells guy so they can can it done. I think the Jets will finally overtake be Patroits. Miami 3rd, Buffalo 4th.

When was the last time both the Giants & the Jets made the playoffs together or came close? It's gonna be a fun season!

I just read second round mock that had the Giants taking the TE from Minnesota

I can definitely see that if he's on the board. Like I said Donnell is adequate but struggles to block. He makes his share of wild catches and takes it down field. Deceptively quick. Good teams have 2 big time threats at TE now so although the offense is awesome as is it can be even more special with a TE to compliment Donnell
