a deal believed to be 50 mm over 5 years from Denver. No links, just reported on ESPN. Many players usually end up with their own club.

I doubt it but I don't think Marcus Camby will have anything to do with whether Rasheed decides to take a paycut to play for New York. Maybe I'm missing the connection you see between Marcus's salary and whether Rasheed decides to take a paycut to play where he wants to play

If camby can command a 10 mil per year salary, then sheed will be playing for 50% or his market value at least. Just cuz he wants to be in NYC? I doubt it.

Before Camby signed his contract, we all knew already that if Rasheed came to NY he'd have to take a paycut. Nothing's changed.

I just don't understand why people make these bizarre connections between players. Someone else said Nash got a $11 mil starting salary; therefore, we can't get Crawford. It's like you guys think these players don't have minds of their own and just make their decisions based on what other players decide

its called a market. i think crawford is now cemented in at 6 years 38mm after Daniels got his. chicago will get a nice piece back for fair$

That's great! After endorsements in NY, he'll make far more than that. If I take what you're saying to be correct, then it's virtuallty guaranteed that he'll come to NY!
