Wth?!?! Lol.

Schroeder is a big part of their team under a cheap rookie contract why would they trade him

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I looked at both teams. I would be giving Atlanta a premium draft pick their choice of potential superstars that they may value much higher than anything they give us. The asset value is probably as high as it gets. Muhammed at the end of the day plays the same position as Alan Wiggins and his minutes were cut into especially when K Martin was hurt. I would be giving them back a later lottery pick on a team that is rebuilding. I don't think they can do better than Muhammed for pick 15. Our take Taveras Schroeder Muhammed picks 31(wood or Vaughn) and 50(PF) gives the Knicks proven young players that fill many holes that 1 player cannot. Im valuing the collective assets much higher than 1 potential young superstar and just moving my draft to rd 2 where I feel I can still do very well. The only free agent Im interested in is bigs I think Muhammed is better than any wing guard in free agency in fact I think hes an all star in the making. If we were able to get Kanter that would give us a big 3 with a another player I really like the 7-3 Taveras who I believe can be part of a 3 headed C(giving 15-18 minutes a night) Taveras Alrdich and Freeland would give us 3 7 footers who give us the defense and rebounding we need at CHEAP cost. I also focused on guard play--especially 3 point shooting. I took back every guard we had that had value added a PG who puts great ball pressure on D is a great passer and gets to the hole and took two guards(as I think Wood would be gone) and one additional athletic shot blocking 4 at pick 50(who will be there 1 of them will)I think Harvey might slip out of the draft

Actually Im on this 1 in particular--this is a form of what I already mentioned . Im showing how a multi faceted asset trade may be more valuable than just taking a pick for 1 guy.

we do have a lot of holes that need to be addressed.

But, this league is a star league- and we need players with the ability to impact the game in our favor- so I wouldn't be quick to trade down because in spots 1-4 there are players that have the potential to be franchise altering talents.

Maybe if we had next years pick, I might be open to backfilling the roster - but we need front line stars - the backfill can come in free agency.

We're not signing a star this off season or next- they seldom move. Unless their too old (please, no aldridge), too worn (Amar'e) or flawed.

We can sign role players.

Draft for impact talent

Free agency for role players.

I might trade from 1 or 2 back to Philly should they get pushed back & end up with the lakers pick.

I think NBA teams who can spot players off of teams benches or 2nd units who have the "all star" type potential in them for one reason or another dont get the PT they might deserve--thats an avenue to explore for the Knicks. Obviously it becomes much more complexed then just saying Justice Winslow pick #3 but atleast to me--from my personal evaluation of the Knicks and what I might want to "see" if I can get--I think trading picks 3 or 4 could be in our best interest. If you start weighing in other teams fancies--its hard to see it--but this is simply a skeleton of an example(although I think all teams make out for hat they need)

there is no way im trading the 3rd pick when that player could be russell/mudiay/ok4. yes, we need to fill holes everywhere, but a player like russell or mudiay COULD be a cornerstone for us for the next 15 years and theres no way im trading that away. let's fill in the holes AFTER we get a cornerstone.

Who the eff is Walter Taveras you may ask? Why he's the next Frederick Weis:

In 2012, he returned to Gran Canaria

In April 2013, Tavares declared for the 2013 NBA draft but later withdrew his name and returned to Gran Canaria for the 2013–14 season

On August 26, 2014, it was announced Tavares would return to Gran Canaria for the 2014–15 season

Please watch this space for highlights of Mr. Taveras being leapt over by Giannis Antetokounmpo during the 2020 Olympics.

Schreoder is good but if your gonna trade Russel I would ask for a top ten pick in this draft and Al Horford at least.

No he's the number 1 European Center prospect who averaged 9 points 9 rebounds and 2 blocks while shooting 71% from the field in roughly 20 minutes. He was named MVP of three tournaments and was selected to a 1st team all Euro all star team. When answering a question you should know what you are talking about if you dont want to look like a fool. He is property of the Hawks at 43 last year but blew up this year.

Walter Tavares and his Herbalife Gran Canaria team continue to roll through Euro cup play. Following an 83-70 win last week on the road, Tavares and his teammates only need a 12-point home loss or better to advance to the finals of the Eurocup. With a 20-1 overall record in Eurocup play and still undefeated in postseason play, Gran Canaria will likely set the bar higher than simply securing enough points to advance.

Tavares had 12 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a season-high 4 assists in the semifinal victory. In addition to his production, he only committed 2 personal fouls and had no turnovers in 21 minutes of play. Combined with the 2 victories in the quarterfinals, Tavares is averaging 8.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in the Eurocup postseason while shooting 73% from the field. If Gran Canaria can win their next 3 games, Tavares will be a strong candidate to be named the MVP of the Eurocup.

Its funny how people criticize but really have no idea wht they are criticizing--have no examples of their own model or even understand the players Im even talki8ng about. 90% of people dont even watch CBB and 95% dont want the NBA past their own team.

Whats your take on Shabazz Muhammed and Scrheoder--Ill leave it at that. I doubt you answer.
