It would not surprise me to think this will at least be researched by Jax because it just seems like it would make sense on each side:

- Karl hates primadonnas; Cousins is a primadonna
- They acquire Towns/Okafor rather than risking Cousins leaving for less of a haul or even nothing in 2 years
- Phil has to know waiting on a big to develop won't sit well in NYC
- Knicks go into contender mode immediately and can use the cap for the supporting cast

Obviously trading away a proven for unproven commodity is risky, but it could be the max of what Sacramento could get. I'm not crazy about the Cousins baggage, but if the plan is not to trade Melo, than I think they should really consider it.
