Hi everyone,

I'm new here. As the season has come to an end, I'll give my two cents on who I would rather see next year. Continuity is good for the chemistry.

  • Alexey Shved : as my point guard starter. He get to the foul line and can give you a few assists. On defense, he doesn't seem like a stud but with his size and youth he should be able to keep his man in front of him

  • Andrea Bargnani : I would not not keep him. He would ask for too much money to play 3 or 4 solid games in the whole season

  • Carmelo Anthony: no brainer. He's the best player on the team and he has a no trade clause. I would play him at PF. That's where he's at his best.

  • Cleanthony Early : need time to develop but could turn into a nice role player in a couple of years. End of the bench

  • Cole Aldrich: I like him as a third center. Brings defense and rebound.

  • Jason Smith: I would keep him for a reasonnable price. He's a good stretch 4 with some flashes of good defense and impact on the game. Perfect as the back up PF

  • Jose Calderon: Even though he had an injury plagued season and could bounce back as the back up PG next season, with thanasis, THJ and galloway, he would be the odd man out on the bench.

  • Lance Thomas: Maybe as an end of the bench guy. Everyone in the knicks organisation seem to love the guy. He has some good moments and he's really involved on the defensive end.

  • Langston Galloway: A very nice find. He has shown he can be a good back up PG

  • Lou Amundson: He's limited offensively but he has heart and hustles on every play. It's good to have a guy like him on the bench.

  • Quincy Acy: He has shown good minutes and he's developping a little jumper but he's undersized and we can't keep everyone.

  • Ricky Ledo: I would not keep him. He didn't have a lot impact on the games from what I've seen.

  • Shane Larkin: I think he could develop into a nice role player given another year or two. He's starting to find his offense. End of bench

  • Tim Hardaway Jr.: He had a down year but he finishes well around the rim and can hit the three. Obviously, I don't like his defense but I hope he can get back to his rookie year form

  • Travis Wear: I would not keep him. He hasn't enough upside to keep him IMO

Me, too. Pretty much an accurate documentation of our current assets.

I agree - but we need to upgrade the backcourt in someway if we want to win more than 30 games. Alexey & Gallo are nice young guys I love. I think Timmy needs to go, and Calderon if you can find a taker- but I wouldn't take back garbage.

I agree that Tim needs to go. I am on the fence about Jason Smith. He seems to like being a Knick and played well down the stretch but the Knicks probably could do better. I think one or more of the following might be moved around the draft, Early, Tim, Thanasis, the euro stash and/or Calderon.

Thanasis moved? Too cheap with too much upside potential?

You are probably right. They just have so many wings. Seems like they owe Thanasis after he agreed to a year at Westchester but I think the Knicks will try to do something on draft night.

Nice job shinmen and welcome aboard.

I get feeling THJ may be traded with Jose.

I would keep him because ...
