Great win for the Nets. Williams was fantastic tonight. Would love to see him get a chance at Pierce after Pierce's comments.

MIchael Carter Williams...22pts 9 asst 8 reb 3 blk and held Derrick Rose to 5-20..Kid is looking more confident in how he is running the offense..great at breaking down the D..Good court vision..Wow..Kudos to the job JKidd is doing with MCW..

Looks like Hinkie was wrong about MCW!!! Kidd has him playing pretty well. He's still got some growing to do, but he's been pivotal for the Bucks along with Middleton.

give kidd credit for getting his bucks ready to play and FIGHT!
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

How do you go from scoring 5 pts combined in the last 2 games, to 35 tonight? He is way too talented to have games like the previous 2, where he wasn't engaged in the game at all. Forget scoring pts, he rarely shot the ball. Dude has some serious mental issues....

Love big PG's...He is and will be a heck of a player. Were the Bulls looking ahead to Cleveland, knowing Love and JR are out?

It's tough having Calathes and Allen on the floor at the same time. Memphis needs Calathes to continue his hot shooting.

I personally think Thibs is a over hyped coach. I have always said that Thibs team will always keep the opponents in the game in the playoff that doesn't carry weight in the regular season you can get away with it. JVG had the same issues doesn't matter how much talent you give them the opposing team will be right there to the end.

It helps that they've both great defenders and do other things to help an offense. Calathes is having a game.

Bulls vs. Spurs
Finals
Defense wins at end

Let's see chuckers rosters Harden and Irving , the rockets and cavaliers respectively get
To finish line when few defender playoff teams really put the gamut on them

Aside from LeBron no NBA team impressed me defense wise other than scorers whom dominate
These games until they all need a stop on Defense

Reasons for one sidedness of games
NBA playoffs is displaying offense since only few teams can actually stop someone

As far as Brooklyn Nets it's nice story
However though this is my hometown Brooklyn, as a devout knickerbockers fan
I'd never ever root for Nets

I don't play that crap, it's one team for me I dont root on another local area foe
As expressed on the forum board.

All Nets fans hate the knickerbockers anyway

And we haven't heard from their number one fan..

Man, you are mean. I thought DJ lost interest in the site a while ago...

Wash/Toronto was about the one series where I didn't really care who won. Nobody on Toronto that's worth anything is a free agent anyway...

He was on here earlier this year gloating about how great his team were, and how we were screwed in every way. I said it was like pride before the fall, and then the fall happened!

I guess I haven't been here long enough (though I lurked for years before signing up) to know the deal but was djsun a former Knicks fan or was he always a Raptors fan who for some reason hung out at a Knicks board?

Was the goal to switch allegiance to a team that is just as painful to watch and root for as the Knicks? Cause the Raptors are about as moribund a franchise as they come.

And DeRozan is pretty much a big time chucker. Can't stand watching the guy play. Lowry has some nuts but bleh what a boring team.

Djsunyc was a knicks fan and good poster, who unfortunately had a nervous breakdown following years of exposure to the Isaiah Thomas regime, and became a Craptors fan. Unfortunately, like a lot of people suffering from trauma, he set about recreating his traumatic experiences by selecting a team run by a similar GM in Colangelo.

Responded well after getting some love from his headcoach. Sometimes that's all a guy who is in a mental funk needs to get going

and we know this off one game? How about other games?

Maybe Hinkie will be wrong ... who knows but I would not say that it looks like he was wrong as of now.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

MCW wasnt reaching his full potential in Philly. With Kidd in Milwaukee he might. Philly thinks they can do better in this draft with Russell, mudiay etc

Damn!!! Deron showed his former self. Bogo showed why he was a great euro stash. Nets have the talent, they just don't have consistancy. Deron has been a mental case for three years dealing with pressure and injury.
Bropez is fluid and Young is a great compliment player. Too Bad Teletovic is not in form.

Yeah, I want the knicks and nets in the east conf. finals (formally known as the semi finals). No rivalry can be made without both teams being relevant and playing meaningful games.
BOth knicks and nets did an arms race starphuch that got them both nowhere.

"he started it".........Prokhorov.........
Get Melo!!!!! Dolan
