I don't mind taking those in the 2nd round or signing them as free agents like we did with Mozgov. But I would never waste a lottery pick. Ever again

Mirotic might end up being the best player on that list. Still I would never draft him in the top 6-8

Portzingis may make sense for us if we're starting five or six. He can protect the rim from the weak side, slash to the hoop without the ball and hit from outside. He can fit in the triangle and blend in with Monroe, Kanter, Brooke Lopez or whatever other offensive minded big we pick up. But if Towns is project, Portzingis is even further down the line.
