good points bigsmooth.

Bulls will have to deal with curry and chandler next yr.

If they stay put, their cap will be 28.776.440 next yr.
Add a 5 millions for JC, a minimum of 9 for curry and maybe the same for chandler.
Wow. and they have no bench. a good starting fve, with 4 guys under 25 yrs old that would lead them nowhere.

They reseble the clipps right now. A lot of young talents, and a dark cloud of contract negociations to come.

S and trade is definitly a possibility. they'll make us take jerome williams and his remaining 3 yrs.

Stop contradicting yourself! Earlier you said there was a 1% chance of getting Crawford

BRIGGS is the master spinner.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

no offense to you TMS, but IMO Briggs is just the exact opposite, he's very constent in his opinions : we have O% chance...blabla...salary cap...... we suck... layden did it... should've drafted amare... houston has noi knee... he'sold at 32... marbury can't play...

I love that ! =)

LOL we have NO NONE zero chance at getting either etan thomas or crawford. look at how the market has been set--these players are on the upper tier of FA and 5mm looks like bargain basement to retain. Is steve Nash worth 13mm and crawford only 5? Crawford might be a Knick when he is 30 like all the rest of the retreads.

Nash's deal reportedly starts at $11M...not 13. Still a big difference, but not all teams think that he is worth that much money. Nash is proven, and has ties to the Suns organization.

If you want to acquire Crawford, read on:

If we want to use all our assets for Crawford, we can get him in a sign and trade along with JYD for KT+[DEKE or OH]+FW. Think that doesn't help out the Bulls? Frankie makes 2mil and KT makes 6mil next year. DEKE provides a true veteran leader in the locker room for Tyson and Eddy and then conveniently slides off their cap OR Othella gives Paxon a veteran and a trade chip. KT s more valuable than JYD. Either way the Bulls get something for Crawford who they could lose for nothing, while improving their frontcourt.

Before you complain that this trade strips the team of assets, the reason for getting Crawford in a trade rather than signing him for the full MLE is that Isiah can use the MLE on TWO players like Eric Williams and Michael Doleac.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
