I haven't seen the second half yet, but the Knicks did our rebound a fairly big Indiana team 52-39. And considering the 19 TOs that were commited, the 24 assists come as a surprise. Now that is effort.

Camby was the rebounding key obviously grabbing 22 boards, but Thomas also put up a nice sum of 12. The way this team is playing now, they will have no problem competing for at least the eastern conference crown. We can punk Milwaukee, New Jersey, or Philly any days of the week!

Yeah, Houstons' been playing much better, his 20-point games have been overshadowed by Spree's possessed playing. In fact, I remember Walt "Clyde" Frazier saying that he's noticed that Houston is driving more. And about the Indy game, I think Thomas had like 4 or 5 blocks, he's really come alive this season starting, he's probably averaging like 12 points, 10 boards, and a block or two a game.
the more houston drives strong the better it is 4 the team in general. i like this bunch right now. spree doing good. kurt thomas and camby cleaning the glass. jackson assisting. i am dissapointed by shandy anderson, he has been erratic. no consistency, and an ejection by the ref against deetroit.

Yeah and he's putting up 13.5 boards a game so far. He could easily win in that category this season.
Camby should be winning this category, look at who he is playing with: a non rebounding PG and SG, an undersized SF and a foul prone PF. Camby should average somewhere around 15 boards.

Camby is currently the best rebounder in the league (but is not ranked due to the lack of games). He's up to 13.5 boards per game and that's by averaging just 34.7 minutes per game. Only Fortson is a better rebounder minute-wise.

...And we had a shot at Fortson last summer. We could have traded Childs and 3 million bucks for Fortson, but Layden opted not to. Could you imagine Camby and Fortson up front?

The only thing I didn't like about the game is that it looked like Dom Deluise could get through the lane. Other than Camby no one there is stop the slasher. Although they are blocking more, we need to stop the drive and that will take some time. I think Weatherspoon will help here once he's healthy.
