good for the suns. i hope they suffer the same fate as the bulls and end up with another euro-stiff in okur. no way kobe goes to pheonix b/c brand and magette are more enticing than amare and marion.

wow. Since phil is gone, the lakers are now kobe's team. no way he'll leave them now.

he can't show that LA won thanks to him, and not phil or even shaq. No need to leave to prove his worth anymore.

If the Suns land Kobe. I would try and trade Tim Thomas, Frank Williams, Mutombo & Harrington for Shawn Marion & Howard Eisley.

Suns consider it because with Kobe, Joe Johnson would have to sit the bench. So instead they get the perfect 6ixth man and unload Eisleys contract for ending deals.

Mutombo/Voskul/Lampe
Stoud/Thomas/Harrington
Johnson/Thomas/Cabarkapa
Kobe/Thomas/Jacobsen
Barbosa/Frank Williams

Knicks
Muhammad/Baker?-Chan?-Doleac?
KT/Sweetney-Baker?
Marion/Hardaway/Ariza
Houston/Hardaway/Anderson
Marbury/Norris/Eisley

Lakers can offer him a 7 year deal worth $130 million if they want...there's no way he'd turn that down, unless he just wants out of LA period.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Yea I really don't see Kobe leaving the Lakers. I mean seriously, there basically handing over the franchise to him.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)
