You're paying Phil Jackson $12 million a year for five years. Still worth it?

You got to believe, baby! I believe, I believe!

Jackson has said he was assured by you that there wouldn't be any interference. But at what point does the leash get tugged?

I don't see it happening. Phil is a brilliant basketball guy, and he and Steve [Mills] are working together great.

You enjoy losing?

No, I enjoy being out of the limelight. I enjoy having two experts in there that I trust. I barely have to do a thing. It can stay like that for me forever. As long as we continue to make progress — and I’m sure we will. I believe!

What do you say to fans who want you to sell?

I don’t respond to people like that. I learned a lesson this year about that. I won’t do it again.

Yes, you emailed a fan and told him off and suggested he might be an alcoholic. Do you regret what you wrote?

I don’t believe what I said was wrong. I believe responding to him was wrong. I believe what I said was absolutely correct. But that’s the thing — why engage with people like that? That was a mistake.

Even when fans wore paper bags to the stadium, that doesn’t get to you?

No. The Knicks fans, by the way, have been great this year. The majority of them understand we’re in a rebuild, we’re moving as fast as we can and they see our opportunities as being huge. I think they are, but it’s all in Phil’s hands.

Maybe Phil can convince Dolan to bring in more executive talent. Gaines seems to have been a good hire.

Doesnt bother so much as long as Phil is the guy pulling the strings, and since Dolan is 100% hiding behind Phil and giving him full responsibility you know he's got to play nice.

Bottom line though to me is this:

The majority of them understand we’re in a rebuild
There is the big R word... tells me also that if Melo doesnt buy in he's movable.

I am not sure how movable he is.

I see nonstop fantasy posts about trading Melo for x number of 1st rounders yet I don't think that we can trade him right now for a d-league player.

I think that we may need to Short Sale him.

If he's hurt sure. No reason he shouldnt bounce back. If he's the next Derrick Rose than yea, but we arent there.

well lets see how he plays next year. He is the key to everything as much as Nixluva refuses to admit it.

If he plays the same way as he did last season (when he was not hurt) then Phil and Triangles are screwed.

In todays game, any player who holds the ball as long as he does is a hog, and he probably holds the ball the longest (without dribbling) in the league.

Phil has got to be losing sleep over this.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Tough to move a guy who's one of the highest paid players in the league, is on the wrong side of 30 coming off knee surgery, and has a full no-trade clause.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

they maybe the perfect idiots for this trade.

Can Jeanie and Phil make a trade? I see that being a big ego issue. Could you imagine if Phil fukked the jeanie ... their relationship would be over.
