I believe that Phil will go for at least one. This squad needs more than one difference maker or it will be more of the same. I dont believe Phil wants to miss the playoffs again.

melo is not the foundation for such a team. I do agree that this would be nice.

At this point I would settle for Melo's weak defense if he play any semblance of team ball.

When I watch the Spurs--every single player on their team can put the ball in the basket. I am all for defense in a team concept but I dont want a team that plays 4-5 or 3 on 5 on offense. That leads to a lot of isolation basketball and lack of ball movement

Mills said they have already spoken to agents of what we presume to be their top free agent choices. I'm sure they essentially already know the guys they are likely to get.

It looks like you have both cap holds and 1st year contracts included in the total cap numbers. Is that correct? Did you use $4.7MM for the Knicks assuming #1 overall? Or #4 overall assuming that is the minimum contract we will have from our draft pick? Then 4 cap holds?

Roster spots look like they will be an issue for Philly.

cap holds are not included or else Portland would have zero space. by not including cap holds it creates an artificial kind of.

I feel like Ro.Lo will never leave Portland. The guy seems like the most natural fit in Portland ever. Heir to Bill Walton's tie dye shirt collection at some point. Portland seems like the kind of team where guys take slightly less to stay, because the fans like them and it's a quality organization and all that. I believe they paid Brandon Roy a lot of money even when it was clear he would never be the same. Who knows, I guess - maybe Robin wants to go comics shopping with Brook in Brooklyn.

We have a long uphill climb from the cellar.
