There's an article in the Post drawing parallels to the Knicks' ability to draft another Patrick Ewing like they did in 1985.
Hmm...
Also in 1985, the Knicks' All-Star SF named Bernard King also injured his knee and never came back to play with Ewing, leaving everyone to forever after think about "what if".
The NYKs have a long history of understating the injuries of their players.

Could history repeat itself?
