I really was hoping he would stay another year because he needed it to improve his draft stock. HE had an poor injury riddled junior season where he did not do a good job as the number 1 offensive threat. He tried to improve as a ball handler but he is not there yet and may never be. He is basically a spot up sniper who needs to learn how to be a Redick/Korver/Allen type player that comes off screens. He has shown the ability to do this some but he needs to learn how to adjust his speeds and improve his endurance. He was putting on a show before he got injured in the 1st UK game.

What I do love about him is that when healthy he will rebound and compete on defense and that is pretty unusual for a sniper. What I really dislike about him is that he can get down on himself when his shot is not falling and shy away from shooting. In his 1st two seasons he got away with that some because he was not the focal point but this year that hurt the Gators because he was one of their only threats from deep. Unless he grew he will still be an undersized 2 guard who will likely be a UFA that will play overseas to gain some seasoning. I would still put him on SL roster and see how he would fit.

YB--a player like Frazier is a model niche player in the new NBA. My bet is that he has been informed by someone that a team really likes him. You're dead on--he was hurt this year and you follow Florida--you know what kind of 3 point shooter he is and he plays defense--so you have a 3 point specialist with long arms who rebounds and defends. Someone who has no draft rating yet can easily move up very quickly in private workouts. I think he may be too much of a niche player to even afford Portsmouth a look--he's a sniper and thats what he wants to show teams and that what teams want to see from him. He didnt leave on a bad note for no reason--someone got his ear.
