Hezonja.. this might be the most athletic overseas guy Ive seen. At 6'8 he could be a real game changer at the SG spot

Start youtubing this guy... this will be a household name

Brought a tear to my eyes, brought back memories of Danilo Gallinari.

I was expecting to see something like that. This guy is more like TMac. He's either drilling 3s or just climbing the ladder and throwing it down. The super rare combo of Euro-skill to go with a player who plays above the rim.

I like him, I just can not pull the trigger over OK4, Towns, or even Justice WInslow
I am not sure if I would rather have Russell or Mario but they are both talented

Unless we can trade CA to The Lakers for their pick, I do not see how it would be possible as we have to take the other talents first
Or then again, we can trade down, and get our BIGS in this FA class and next FA class

I ranked him above Mudiay and Russell--and I think just slightly above Winslow(but not much at all) Hezonga is pick #3 in this draft. If we say 6-8 shooting guard who can handle with NBA tier 1 athletic ability and has a similar stroke To Klay Thompson--thats an exciting player. He has athleticism that most euros do not.

Someone said on the telecast that Winslow might be more Harden then Russell. If Winslow was the "main man" on his team--his numbers would be off the charts IMHO. He's not a guy living off others scraps--not even close. Hes a 6-6 230 pound Manu Ginobli--a guy who already has the Euro step down has tier 1 athletic ability--has a nice jumpshot handle fullcourt 2 way player. Guy is better than S Johnson and should be slotted top 5.

I seem to remember reading that he has a tendency to talk to himself and disconnect from the game and his teammates, which I would find quite amusing- we've all been there during a bad day at work!

What's his defense like? Would you say he's quite raw or ready to contribute?

He IS living off OK4s scraps, its not even up for debate. What is up for debate is whether or not he NEEDS to. Same with Towns. Seeing is believing

Gallo had a high ceiling, injuries are part of the game, something we cannot predict
And it is now happening to Durant

Gallo has been playing very well recently
While I miss Wilson Chandler more for his versatility and understood Gallo had a "higher ceiling and trade value"

I like Mudiay a little better he has that handle and ability to make others better. He can be either SG/PG that versatility just can't be over looked.

he cant shoot... maybe thats overblown, but everything I read is his jumper is not good. I mean you can play zone now, and hybrid zones and the day of of the slasher isnt coming to an end, but you can defend that easier than you used to. The guys who can hit the 3 AND beat you off the dribble or score in the post are the new world NBA.

At 6'8 this is an above the rim player, but he's got a fantastic shot that the #s back up with the highlight vids

I just hope we are happily celebrating Towns, Russell or Okafor by the time this kid gets picked.

yea I agree.... but stuff happens and this kid looks like he's right there with them. Possibly even better. Towns still scares me.. he's just such a damn spaz, but that might just be how he plays. The more the better at the top.

Seems like a guy you use as a scoring weapon like Kobe. He's got that "call my own number" attitude even tho he can pass.

Trade Melo to Lakers for their pick+Lin+filler.
Draft Towns with our pick. Draft Mudiay/Hezonja/Russell with Laker pick.
Grab Monroe as FA.

Sign 2nd/3rd tier dude to mid-level contracts and/or short contracts.

Get our max guy when we have a core built to contend. It will be entertaining along the way.

Would have been nice if this analysis had taken even a brief look at him as a defender... or did I miss something.

Wonder if he's still growing.

C'mon get real. There is a greater chance of guns inviting me over his house for dinner than this trade happening. There is NO way the lakers would trade their pick for Melo. NO WAY. Lin is a FA also.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate
