Its pretty simple. First off the upper end athletic ability / skill combination of both players bring them up to top 5 lottery tier status. As much as I long Russell his lack of athletic ability drops him off just slightly from pick 4 to 5 .I'm not sure whether I will finish with Mario or justice at 3 but I do know they are 3-4 in my book. The athletic force with what Winslow plays with is highly likely to transform into the NBA very nicely. His ability to take it end to end with all of the other two way skills with the great body's and a nice jump shot just elevates his draft status in my mind. Hezonga to me is an athletic Play Thompson who can also play a point f role with high end NBA athletiscm. I may end up with Winslow 3 but for now Mario has that spot. Given that we pick 1-4 I'm letting the pgs go for our needs.

I really do like Winslow. He might've moved up to 5 ahead of stein, kaminsky, Mario, porzingis.

Can't put em ahead of the top guys based on one game when those too guys have been great all year

And you guys called me crazy for trading the top pick for multiple picks....especially with pick 5 as one of the picks. If you can get two solid picks.....especially two way players like winslow....and a promising big like stein.....i like that better than just OK4 or juzt Towns. Then you add two quality FAs and you have a very solid team for multiple years.

No interest in Winslow unless we are trading Melo. I would love Winslow as a prototypical 2-way SF

I try to end the year with the best players slotted accordingly. Winslow is an athletic two way beast. I would view him as a candidate as a potential number 1 along with a couple of other if they stayed and were the "man" next year. The top 10-14 are VERY VERY good this year. Hes better than S Johsnon who is ranked #4 on both draft sites. I think 4 is about right. I think Russell would vie for pick 31 if he was more athletic but it seems he will go 3-6. I thought he was a lock 3 but Im not so sure anymore--slightly exposed by his athletic ability level.

For me its big or bust. I know well get a good player but if we dont get 1 of the 2 bigs it will be a letdown BIG time.

Anyone who frequently commands double teams, can easily blow by defenders, and get to the rim is athletic enough for me. Its more about conditioning than anything else. Elfrid Payton isn't what you would call an amazing athlete, but he is doing things that few rookies have done before. Its what's between the ears.

Winslow cleans up with the space OK4 creates for him. The game is a lot easier when you have good guards who can hit shots and a post player who commands a double team every single time he touches the ball. He's not close to Russell. As for Hezonga or Mudiay I havent seen enough of either.

Winslow=Manu Ginobli--a star in his own right. If he played at Duke next year he would be ACC player of the year and avg 20-8-6-2-1.5

yea I remember they said that about Marvin Williams also. When Winslow does that great. Until then he's feasting off OK4s scraps. Nothing wrong with that, he's doing a great job. I mean even the 11 boards he had yesterday. How many times did OK4 box out and clear out the whole damn post so Winslow could slid in for the board? Way to tough to tell right now.

I can see Winslow and Hezonga going above Russell but not Mudiay. Mudiay is the rare blend of athleticism combined with skills. Your looking at a guy that gets in the lane at will and finishes, his creativity off the dribble is as good as anyone.

I understand he went to play in China and people are holding it against him. But if HS players were allowed to be picked last year he would have gone top 3. Just based on being the number one recruited player in the nation. For those that say I haven't seen him play the have entire CBA games. Watch them and you will see why he is my number 2 pick in the draft.

Winslow is rally good and I would be happy to have him, but not above Russell. No way.

if anything okafor just leapedfrogged russell but has more to do russell's shooting slump capped off by a disaster against arizona... it really seemed like he was not playing like himself and forcing way too many shots...

it's still a top 3 but it's more like towns, okafor, russell and now winslow becomes a solid #4... there wasn't anyone who was solidly in that slot but winslow has played well enough to take it..
