I watched Utah the other night primarily to watch Delon Wright and came away super impressed with their C. My criteria for a C is different in subjective ways and he is a pure 5. Anyway he looks much bigger than earlier in the year--as if he filled out 10 pounds(and he probably will weigh 260 by the time his body is mature looking at his shoulders and legs) He had impressive length and agility for a guy who i think may stand 7-1 and has a very nice touch around the basket--and instinctive shot blocking skills. I can see this player--if he stays in school and progresses the way I am looking at it--to potentially the number 1 pick in the draft next year. That being said--if he stays in--he may be a target of a trade down or additional asset trade. I'd put him ahead of guys like Stein and Portis right now in terms of longer term projection of talent. Also I think the C/PF from Vanderbilt is also a lottery pick talent who may end up as a high 20 pick--another sweet target depending on how things shake up top--especially if we take jahill. You can catch him --Vandy is still playing in NIT.
I think we can walk out of this draft with two bigs who can lay the foundation for us going 4ward for the next 12-14 years. Its an unusual draft--it is "possible" the big men in the draft will be one of a kind in terms of quality in depth down round 1.
