Would you trade the top pick to OKC for Durant? Personally, I would not do such a trade;specifically the foot injuries currently on the news about this kid. I would much rather offer that pick for Westbrook.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

First of all, Durant and Melo together is not a good fit...But if you guys are saying you wont trade any of the three scrubs coming out college for Durant then you are completely bonkers...

It's not that I wouldn't love having KD, but the Draft pick is our own player who as others pointed out will be cheap for years and that impacts our ability to be competitive for years to come. It's just a overall better value and way to build a team. We'd still have a shot at KD down the line so why waste an asset for no reason?

Francesa is not stupid enough to suggest that. He is on board with keeping our pick.

Now on the other hand Alan Hahn so called basketball/Knicks/typical New Yorker "expert" thinks we should trade the pick for Durant

I think "true fans" are more fascinated with the whole drafting players process than actual nba winning basketball players..
