He really looked great today and he has really picke dup his play 2nd half of the year. Hes going to measure above 7-1 and roughly 275 a pure 5 man. Would he be a nice compliment as a player next to Okafor with His additional size and rim protection? Also a good athlete for his size.

That would put our frontline for the future at

C 7-1 275
PF 6-11 265

we wouldnt be getting bthced around by anyone ! a little snippet.

His usage stats for the last 3 years are very good and somewhat similar although his FG % is rising. That could mean this player is ready to take it to another level.

unless he goes undrafted, we have very little chance of getting him.

And we should avoid Okafor fantasies as we have a real chance of not getting him. In fact, more than likely we don't.

We as Knick fans should prepare for getting screwed out the one year we actually sucked AND were unable to trade their pick!

Why should we think so pessimistically? I don't understand the need for this kind of thinking. You have to explain yourself on this one cuz it seems to make no sense to think that way.

I'd have to think Hammons has gone way up on several teams radar in the late first round for a rim protector. The upside with Hammons is that's he a solid rebounder and has a good deal of offensive upside. If he comes out I'm sure he will be one of the players on the Knicks radar if the capture a 2 #1

is Jerome Jordan physical abilities and skills right now a comparable talent to AJ Hammonds who is younger with more potential and upside of JJ 2.0
Jerome Jordan has improved his skills, in rebounding/shot blocking, and post moves/scoring/shooting, in addition to his frame/body when we drafted him, which took a couple of years
Where as AJ Hammonds is already where JJ is right now, with the potential to improve...

I agree Ron -- definitely reminds me of Jerome Jordan when I watch him.

and that why I am calling him 2.0 and comparing him to the improvements Jordan has made from drafting him and the couple of years, white Hammond is younger with more time to improve/develop
I think both Jordan and Hammond are pretty light on their feet for their size with decent but not impressive athleticism
One thing I do notice about Hammond, he doesn't box out and use his body to not give up post position easily, something Jordan actually does, while Hammond relies more on his ability to jump and timing to get the rebound/shot blocking
