Hes the guy we will get in the draft and subsequently trade to Portland in a S+T for Robin Lopez and Wes Matthews.

I really don't see Phil trading his pick this year. In terms of his cap situation keeping his pick actually makes it easier to stretch his cap dollars. He gets to add a player who can be part of the core at a reduced rate relative to a proven vet.

The way Duke can play with a spread floor and OK4 in the post makes it so tough on these teams. If they didn't have the shooters they have it wouldn't work as well, but that's the idea.

the question for whom would you trade away that draft pick? obviously the development of 19yr olds is not in sync-- at ALL-- with melo's diminution... so if it is truly about winning now with the expectation that melo remains a viable nba player... WHO among the free agents can see a future in new york??? some realistic names would be swell.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I was at the afternoon games in Greensboro. UVA vs. Florida and then UNC vs. Louisvile.
13th row center court with food and drink at corp. boondoggle.

Virgina is freaking huge. UNC looked good. Pitino looks like a women now.
