0 picks incoming for GS
==================================

Whatever picks that isn't being traded below, is what they have available, though they can not trade their pick in 2 consecetive years but can trade the player when drafted

GS picks outgoing
===============================

2015 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
Golden State's 2015 2nd round pick to Philadelphia (via Indiana) [Golden State-Indiana, 12/19/2011; Indiana-Philadelphia, 2/20/2014]

2016 second round draft pick to Utah
Golden State's 2016 2nd round pick to Utah [Denver-Golden State-Utah, 7/10/2013]

2017 first round draft pick to Utah
Golden State's 2017 1st round pick to Utah [Denver-Golden State-Utah, 7/10/2013]

2017 second round draft pick to Utah
Golden State's 2017 2nd round pick to Utah [Denver-Golden State-Utah, 7/10/2013]

2018 second round draft pick to Denver
Golden State's 2018 2nd round pick to Denver [Denver-Golden State-Utah, 7/10/2013]

So we can get this year's GS 1st round draft pick after they select him and/or 2019 1st rounders and after....

I think Lee can play, despite his inabilty to defend at a high level, it just isn't in his abilities, however, he is a very good rebounder, does use his body to box out, and he does have point/forward abilities to facilitate and score in the post that he hasn't been able to showcase this year since Draymond Green took over
I would not even consider taking Lee if GS didn't send us at least this years draft pick *which they can pick for us and then ship the rights to us*
Not sure if we can get any more besides that but would teams be willing to take Lee for less than the this years 1st rounder is the question, as Lee isn't McGee
If we do make such a move with GS, it would pretty much seal our commitment to building a CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENDER NEXT SEASON, which I think is unrealistic anyway
We do have trade exemptions that we would send back as well as players in their contract years that do not have to be picked up such as Shved

Will we also consider trading CA to a team like Houston if they offer us a decent combination of assets?
Would CA and his ego consider joining a LEGIT CHAMPIONSHIP contender while taking a back set with Harden's team
They also have the talent to make up CA's defense, with players such as D12 *assuming healthy*, with Ariza/Brewer or KJ McDaniels/Beverely/Josh Smith/ Terrence Jones/DMO, though some of these players would be needed to be packaged to match CA's salary though we would have the 150% rule that we can use once again, as we would be under the cap
Likely, we would also take on Koustas Pap's contract of about 5m which is unguaranteed, who was originally drafted by us as mid/later 2nd rounder, who we likely would try to trade out if we can get back a 2nd rounder

CA would have to agree to such a trade with a no trade clause, though he would make much more money with NO STATES TAX, and a trade kicker on top of it
I would be looking at New Orlean's 1st rounder *though there are protections on it* and 3 of our 2nd round picks in consective years

We would still have cap space to sign some cap friendly deals like Aijinca, posssibly even still signing 2 poison pills constructed like Asik/Lin's, with RFA's Middleton/Draymond Green *which are probably both unlikely* but if we can find 2 players worthy of using the poison pills on, which must be RFA's that are in their rookie conttracts, it would be worth it as it would not cost us much salary in the first 2years of the deal at about 5m per year
Now if we can make both moves, we would be getting 3 1st rounders and some 2nd rounders in this summers draft, to focus on development in one year, while we would be putting ourselves in VERY GOOD POSITION in 2017 when the cap rises 20m, likely to sign 3 STAR talents and more with UFA talents, with many being great fits in the Triangle, and we could form a trio just like Miami did in 2010, possibly even grabbing another talented 2nd/3rd tier player or/and very good role players

Durant
Whiteside
Lebron
Noah
Pau Gasol
Horford
D12
Kevin Love??

DeMar DeRozan
Roy Hibbert/David West *though both could opt out this summer which West might gamble with while Hibbert might not since there will be a rise in cap space and he is still young in 2017*

Chandler Parsons
Wilson Chandler
Battum
Gallo

David Lee
Ryan Anderson

Hickson/Speights
James Johnson

Bayless/Vasquez/DJ Augistine

There will be many more other players talents on ALL level of talents including veterans like Kobe, Wade, etc,
With many RFA's, though the TOP ONES like Anthony Davis/Andre Drummond/Lilliard will not available and are expected to resign with their current teams, though others like MKG/Harrison Barnes and a few others could be possiblities

Houston Rocket's Picks Owned
=================================

2015 first round draft pick from New Orleans
New Orleans' 1st round pick to Houston protected for selections 1-3 and 20-30 in 2015, 1-3 and 20-30 in 2016, 1-3 and 20-30 in 2017, 1-3 and 20-30 in 2018, 1-3 and 25-30 in 2019 and 1-3 and 25-30 in 2020; if New Orleans has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Houston by 2020, then New Orleans will instead convey its 2020 2nd round pick and 2021 2nd round pick to Houston [Houston-New Orleans-Washington, 7/15/2014]

2015 second round draft pick from New York
New York's 2015 2nd round pick to Houston [Houston-New York, 7/11/2012]

2016 second round draft pick from New York
New York's 2016 2nd round pick to Houston (via Portland to Sacramento then removal of protection from New York) [New York-Portland, 7/15/2012; New Orleans-Portland-Sacramento, 7/10/2013; New York-Sacramento, 8/6/2014; Houston-Sacramento, 9/17/2014]

2017 second round draft pick from Portland
Portland's 2017 2nd round pick to Houston [Houston-Portland, 7/10/2013]

Houston Rocket's Picks traded
======================================

2015 first round draft pick to L.A. Lakers
Houston's 1st round pick to the L.A. Lakers protected for selections 1-14 in 2015, 1-10 in 2016, 1-10 in 2017, 1-5 in 2018, 1-5 in 2019 and 1-3 in 2020 and unprotected in 2021 [Houston-L.A. Lakers, 7/13/2014]

2015 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
Houston's 2015 2nd round pick to Philadelphia [Houston-Minnesota-Philadelphia, 12/19/2014]

2016 second round draft pick to Minnesota
Houston's 2016 2nd round pick to Minnesota protected for selections 31-45 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Houston's obligation to Minnesota will be extinguished) [Houston-Minnesota-Philadelphia, 12/19/2014]

2017 second round draft pick to New York
Houston's 2017 2nd round pick to New York [Houston-New York, 2/19/2015]

2019 second round draft pick to New York
Houston's 2019 2nd round pick to New York [Houston-New York, 2/19/2015]

Houston OWNS ALL OF THEIR 1st rounders except for this summer's that is going to The Laker's with the trade for Lin
However, the players that we would be getting back if they indeed trade for CA, would also have value, such as DMO/Terrence Jones, much like Denver got 1st rounders for Felton/MosGoV in addition to the picks and cap space that saved them over $50m in salaries/taxes we traded to acquire CA
Both Terrence Jones and DMO, would be locked in their rookie contracts becoming RFA's in 2016/17 the same year that the 20m would be added in to spend, though their cap holds are quite low, with their BIRD RIGHTS while we can still resign them if we kept them or traded them with cap holds of roughly, the range of 3.5m *Terrence Jones* and 3.3m *DMO*

Would not be surprised if we had to take back Jason Terry in a sign and trade to match salaries, with an unguanteed contract outside of the 1st year, in order to make the salaries match much like we did for Q Rich to Toronto to acquire AB

Ron I do not think the Knicks can spend 30mm $. Waiving and spreading Calderons contract is a no brainer. Is David Lee an option for assets for his cap space? Because we have Carmelo--Im going to say not option 1 or 2 but we may not be able to spend the money. If we cant spend it than looking at david Lee scenarios where we get back picks is next on line. Draft assets are something we have 100% control over free agency no.
