Id take Kaminsky if I already had Towns
Inside/outside big men... I think it would work on offense.
Just wonder about Kaminsky on D, Briggs, especially considering the popularity of PFs who operate around the perimeter. Not sure you want Kaminsky guarding a stretch 4 and getting beat off the dribble all the time. Even with Town in the paint, it would cause havoc.
I've watched him a lot recently. He is a confident player on offense, who has been given a lot of freedom by his coach to play inside or outside, although I think he is more comfortable starting on the perimeter. I've seen some weak post-up moves that were cringe-worthy, but have also seen some nice moves to the basket, and I think he has the kind of BB IQ which will allow him to learn and adapt.
He just looks very slow in terms of lateral movement, and the rules in the NBA really "penalize" guys with limited lateral quickness.
If you have Anthony and Kaminsky as forwards, you really need a defender like a Towns to back them up.
Wonder if Jackson might think about picking him if we don't have a top 3 pick. Good long and midrange shot...good decision maker- seems like a good fit for the offense we want to run. You never know what they will see when they work him out.
Given my belief that we want rookies who can readily fit in with an aging Anthony, an intelligent kid like Kaminsky would be worth protected draft pick at this point.
