Is he a lock to sign with Miami?

I guess the smart move would be to sign up to play with Dragic, Bosh, Wade.

Luol Deng has a player option which he'll probably decline to test the market.

If all Miami does is bring back

Dragic
Wade (hometown discount)
Deng
Bosh
Whiteside

Bench filler combo guard to rest Wade during season..that's not a bad team.

It would be lovely to see:

D'Angelo Russell
Hardaway
X = Draymon Green?
Melo
Whiteside

But this being the Knicks..that probably won't happen

Because he's not- he has the worst agent in the nba and signed a 2 year minimum contract deal (second year team option). A lot of websites have it wrongly listed as a one year deal, but it has been confirmed by numerous sources that its a 2 year deal.

Remember that CBA centre in the 90s that Riley managed to turn into a great starter for a year? What was his name? Ike Austin or something? I think he dropped off after that year, but Riley has a knack for getting the best out of fringe players.
