well, next year, Penny's contract would be considered as an expiring deal, so maybe it's not as inflexible as you would think? not that teams will be clamoring over themselves to get Penny, but his contract won't be immoveable imho...add to that a couple of 1st round picks w/which to play with, & Isiah has some options open to him to improve this team which he didn't have this season.
