Let's usher out the Dolans

For the Dolans' next trick: union-busting. They've reduced MSG ushers by half, and now they're positioning to phase them all out. That would do three things: reduce fan comfort, remove money from working men ($49 a game)(ther is more here I can't post).....

It's bad enough they've ruined our teams. If they go through with this, let's picket Madison Square Garden.

And Marv Albert can announce the proceedings.

I wonder what Puff's # is...?

I posted this on MSG at about 10am....136 views, not one response...

this goes back to my post where i said that the knick management has managed the teams salary structure so POORLY, that it effects EVERYTHING. it forced me to give up tickets i had for 10+ years and it will continue to trickle down to everyone other than the players or very top management.

they have the gaul to raise ticket prices after winning 39 games?

now they want to raise their salary structure HIGHER than the present 97MM? these people are bleeding money having to pay a luxury tax of 50MILLION dollars on top of the 100mm $ payroll and they think saving chump change is the answer.

the answer was 4 years ago when we had ample opportunity to rebuild the team. The NY Knicks can afford a salary structure of 65 mm or so at a peak with a solid team and it SHOULD be solid with that much money spent. But they spent without justification without structure and now they are up the creek and trying to scre everyone else.

now posters are telling me that they are willing to spend another 5-7mm which also doubles to 14 mm or so? no ushers no security shtty product

and they are also spending MILLIONS on advertising because they are afraid of that new convention center the Jets are building.

i loved the knicks for almost 30 years but i root for them to lose now so we can get rid of the cancer invested at the top.

Briggs, I agree with everything you said, but unfortunately, I just don't see Dolan selling the Knicks, anytime soon. I think Steinbrenner has a better chance of getting rid of the Yankees, and that ain't happening.

The Knicks are his baby. They make him insane money. But this thing with the Ushers goes to show that he cares for NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, but himself.

And no, this doesn't surprise me. The Dolans truely are cancers, and I say that about nobody. I don't have the heart to call someone terrible like cancer, but I guess the Dolans had to change that, b/c that's what they are. Cancer. "F**k one of the most famous and loved popular sports franchises of all time. Just do what's good for me, even if it takes screwing with the Knicks, and now the safety and security of 19,763 people a game night."

Unfortunately that's as they say... "business, folks!".

The CEO's of Corporations get paid thousands of times what a low-level worker gets paid.

While at Home Depot you get $0.15 raises per hour after 1 year. Wal-mart employs over one million people, and the majority are part time workers so that they don't have to give their employees any benefits.

So many chain stores open that shouldn't be able to open, but these companies just want to saturate the market at all costs including ****ing over workers.

We need UNIONS to come back at FULL STRENGTH and KICK SOME CORPORATE CEO ASS. If the government won't raise minimum wage then let the unions set the wages. We don't need a Starbucks and Duane Reade on every damn corner. We don't need huge stores with ****ty service like Home Depot. I went to Best Buy the other day and they were charging $50 for a 120 CD holder!!! $50 for cheap plastic!!!

Out of the top 100 economies (Countries/companies) in the world, 59 are CORPORATIONS!

look at it this way, now its that much easier to sneak down to the empty seats down close that are often the purview of corporate fat cats who could give 1/10th of the **** that real knicks fans do and often remain empty throughout the game...

Right on! There's nothing like paying 40 bucks for a tick in the 400 section and sitting in the hundred dollar seats getting waiter service at half court!
