Hey, ESPN radio is saying there is a deal in place for:

KNICKS TRADE:
KURT THOMAS
MICHAEL SWEETNEY

and

WASHINGTON TRADES:
JERRY STACKHOUSE
#5 PICK

don't like it; i'd rather keep sweetney. i don't believe the rumor either. Isiah's not gonna give up the ninth pick in a strong draft for the fifth in a weak one when he already likes what he sees from Sweetney. Also, he's definitely not going to give up BOTH Kurt and Mike in a deal without getting an awesome PF in return

Did you get this on the ESPN forums or did you actually hear this?

Depends on what he has in mind for the no. 5.

Someone is gonna emerge as a star in the top 20 picks.

I would not mind for Isiah to step up and put his stamp on this team with a draft pick.

I like sweets, I don't know his upside, where a josh childress or others may be a future monster.

We'll soon know.

I dunno if it means much, but i had Jerry Stackhouse on my fantasy team when he got back to the wizards and he didnt get me any points. Something tells me the summers not gonna get him back into his former shape. This is a bad deal, i'd MUCH rather have Walker. Those of you who hated the Walker trade should abhor this one. Plus, where are all our big men gonna be? Stackhouse is Dyess.

we had absolutly no reason to do that deal.

So what? trading sweet (9th pick) for a 5th pick ?

I'd rather stay with KT instead of adding stack.

obviously you can lay this rumor to rest since the Mavs will end up w/Harris, the PG prospect at #5, which we definitely are in no need of.
