1. Andre Emmett - Really reminds me of the late Bobby Phills. Great body for a 2 guard. Wonder if IT personally called Bobby Knight about this guy.

2. Romain Sato - Another guy who could spell H20 better than Shandon Anderson. Like Emmett, I think he has a real shot to be a starter in this league one day. His defensive ability is top notch.

3. Chris Duhon - I am hoping that Frank Williams is dealt. I think he is horrendous, but the fact that he played decently vs. the Nets may have his market value is as high as it ever will be. Duhon (defense, smarts etc.) will be a Charlie Ward type player in this league.

4. Lionel Chalmers - Tough, good shooter, was downright ball-sy in the NCAA's. Reminded me of the Nets (not Knicks) version of Chris Childs.

Disclaimer: I limited my list to guys I have seen, which essentially eliminates two major groups (high school & foreign guys).

By the way, for anybody that has seen this Iowa State (white) dude....what can you tell me about him???

my bold wish is that Isiah will package the 2nd rounder along w/a player to move up into the 1st round & take a JR Smith type player who can take over for Allan Houston someday.

but that won't happen obviously

I don't know a damn thing about the players on the board right now, most of them are high-school players and europeans.

My list looks like yours except replace Duhon at 3 with Herve Lamizana. Duhon IMO will be a similar player to Eisley...I don't want that. Lamizana is a 6-9 SF/PF with great athletic ability and talent. He has a decent 3 pt shot and is a productive shotblocker (who can still improve his timing). He might not be ready, but NBA coaching can make him dramatically improve.

Others that are decent players are Tony Allen, Tim Pickett and Bernard Robinson. Pickett especially is a streak scorer and a good defender (at least for getting steals). Both Pickett and Sato have some Starks-like qualities.

Desmon Farmer is a scorer who needs some consistency. I don't know much about Ricky Minard but he is on our radar screen.

Vroman is weird. He doesnt really have an outside game, but is too slender to play inside. He sorta reminds me of Croshere, but that's probably not a great comparison. I wish I had seen him more...

We likely won't draft a HS or European where we are picking. Most of the good prospects will be gone, and a lot of the best prospects on the board will be college seniors. One HS guy that may be within our range however, is Jackie Butler.
