That is true Fishmike. I don't like Walker too much, but you're right he's better than any frontcourt player we have. If we get him, though, do we trade TT? Or what happens to Sweetney?

nothing... Walker takes minutes from KT, Baker, Nazr, Deke... these scrubs. He can get minutes at the 3 when TT isnt in the game. Play him at center for all I care. Walker might turn out to be a great combo with Marbury and TT. Then again maybe they dont really gel. Whats better to offer come trade deadline? Walker or some lousy combo of Deke, Harringto and TSki, all of whom have been pissed off about being benched all year.

the question shouldn't be whether or not the Knicks should trade KT & their excess filler for Walker, but whether or not the Mavs would even be interested in that package in exchange for him...i highly doubt they would unless the Knicks were to throw in some picks or a young player like Sweetney, which would then make it alot less desirable a trade to make if you're the Knicks.

Well it doesn't matter now. No way Dallas trades him. He is likely going to be packaged with Nowitzki for Shaq.
I'm not sure the Mavs will offer Dirk; they may have gotten the #5 pick so they can offer it instead of Dirk. I'm not sure the Lakers will do the deal if Dirk isn't included, though.
